Yes I am compiling a Blog about the great pandemic of 2020 and how my country stupidly shut down the economy. We will have opinions, political and cultural highlights, my personal experience, social media details, even TV reviews since I watch so much TV while in my home jail. We shall, as always, end with a smile.
MISC. PANDEMIC NOTES OF THE WEEK
(an update for my descendants)
Disney World and Masks
Disney World will be opening soon, so goes the scoop. There will be rules, however. But of course.
One of the more insane rules is that everyone must wear a mask.
Can you imagine wearing a stifling mask all day at Disney World? In the stifling heat of Florida?
This should be interesting, descendants. Let us hope that come your time to enjoy one of the greatest theme parks on the planet that ye shall not have to wear a mask.

Stock Market Rising
The stock market, despite an extraordinary unemployment rate reaching to 20%, continues to rise.
Yon descendants might have some of my funds should the stock market refund me my losses. If yon descendants have none, well y'all will probably be governed by the Chinese at any rate.

MAJOR POLITICAL EVENT OF THE WEEK
(another update)
President Trump Passes Executive Order Against Twitter
Seems that Twitter took it upon its silly liberal self to edit President Trumps Twitter entry about mail-in ballots, declaring his post as needing fact checking.
Here's the thing, first let us narrate just what the geniuses at Twitter thought was wrong about Trump's tweet about mail-in ballots.
Trump said that California sent out millions of mail-in ballots to illegal aliens. As descendants should know if schools have not been completely taken over by Communists as of this reading, one must be an American citizen to vote.
So Twitter gets a statement from the state of California that absolutely no ballots were sent to illegals.
Of course not.
The status of one's citizenship is determined at the time one registers to vote. The voter rolls are thus filled with illegals but they are deemed legal in that....well they're on the voter rolls. Gotta be an American citizen in order to vote.
Thus California does not send mail-in ballots to illegals because, allegedly, mail-in ballots are sent only to registered voters, which, ahem, does not include illegals.
Now those of us with brains know that California is full of illegals, California has sanctuary cities, California hails them on in from Mexico. Let us suppose that upon signing people up to vote some of these illegals (insert smirk here), have fake papers. They would be registered to vote although not legal American citizens and, maybe, the state sends these illegals mail-in ballots.
But Twitter, like most tech companies is based in California, declares President Trump is lying when he says California did not send mail-in ballots to folks who aren't citizens.
Now Twitter, like Facebook and other social media , are not publishers/editors. They exist to provide a platform for Americans to share words beyond snail-mail letters, telephone calls or other means of communication. They are not the NY Times which chooses its own content. They are not a book publisher, which picks and chooses who and what to publish.
Twitter is a platform that makes money by selling advertising by providing the technical means for people to communicate over the Internet.
Twitter and other social media organizations are protected by liable actions in that what is published on that venue is the choice of who writes it, NOT the owners of the company.
Since Twitter took it upon themselves to edit President Trump why should it be protected from liability lawsuits as that was not part of the original agreement?
So trump wrote an executive order taking away that lawsuit protection.
You can't have it both ways.

MAJOR CULTURE EVENT OF THE WEEK
(one more update)
Derek Chauvin Kills man by Sitting on his neck.
Yes yon descendants, it is one of the most horrible of police actions of this century and what a mess it made out of Minnesota.
Seems a black man named George Floyd was trying to buy some cigarettes at a local store in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Seems he was allegedly using a fake $20 bill although as of this writing the details on this are not clear.
Police were called as store-owners wanted real money and the cops showed up as summoned.
If you look at the picture below you see Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. Note, yon descendants, that his knee is on Floyd's neck.
Chauvin held this position for about eight to nine minutes. Floyd kept saying he couldn't breathe. Floyd was pronounced dead at the hospital.
This whole thing, descendants, became a major source of confusion, hysteria, riots, looting and burning.
The state of Minnesota, indeed most of America, was horrified at the concept of having a 180 pound man's knees pressing down on a suspect's neck. Floyd had been, at the time, subdued but the pressure on his neck is believed to have caused his death.
Shortly before this writing, the police officer has been arrested.
For several days there were rioters and looters all over the place. Cause if you can break Target's windows and steal all their property, never mind why, well it should be done.
It's a mess descendants. More coming from all this.

OVER THE INTERNET
(social media explains so much)
REVIEWS TV SHOWS
(since I watch so much TV, not for my descendants)
TMZ Live
Of late descendants, this show, the gossip show of the era, has not been produced in studio. As a lot of shows have not because in case one has not heard, there is a pandemic going on. Thus co-hosts Harvey Levin and Charles Latibeaudiere have each been in their own homes and using Zoom to share their gossip.
Harvey is an admitted homosexual and Charles is a black man who tolerates Harvey's incessant capture of the conversations. I don't much like Harvey but Charles is personable and shows some humility his co-host does not possess.
TMZ is a tabloid news website that debuted on November 8, 2005. It was a collaboration between AOL and Telepictures Productions, a division of Warner Bros., until Time Warner divested AOL in 2009. Wikipedia
TMZ started as a web site and it became quite popular across the Internet. A daytime TV show was carved out.
Guests on the show come from the very public to which I belong, descendants. After a gossip feature some ordinary but pre-tested for thought and communication skills are Zoomed upon to give their opinion. They will give their opinion on the prior gossip item shown. If a gossip item involving a Kardashian is featured, a guest from the public will be filmed with that person's thoughts and opinions on the Kardashian expressed.
There's a lot of political on the TV show and Harvey hates President Trump, that is obvious.
I cannot stand Harvey as much as he despises my President, duly elected I might add.
I am a woman and yes I kind of like gossip. TMZ does have a hand into all that is going on with the culture, celebrities and politicos.
So I watch and I add, it is the sort of show one can watch without paying dedicated attention.
For mid-day mindless chatter, this is the show in which one should tune. I switch the channel when Harvey starts talking for a long time.
