9/2/20
Yes I am compiling a Blog about the great pandemic of 2020 and how my country stupidly shut down the economy. We will have opinions, political and cultural highlights, my personal experience, social media details, even TV reviews since I watch so much TV while in my home jail. We shall, as always, end with a smile.MAJOR POLITICAL EVENTS OF THE WEEK
(another update)
Biden comes out against riots; Trump goes to Kenosha, Biden also goes. Trump accused of calling dead soldiers mocking names.
It's been quite a week politically, yon descendants, as the election of 2020 looms closer to the November election date.
By me the biggest political gaffe this week was by Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, detailed below. For now let us review other political events that rocked the world
Democratic Joe Biden, former VP under Barack Obama, finally gave a meek chastisement to the looters and rioters destroying many cities across the country.
President Trump visited Kenosha, Wisconsin, a place where a rapist was shot dead by police in a complicated series of events resulting from a phone call for help. Biden and other Democrats begged Trump not to go but he did and it turned out pleasantly. In a burst of serendipity, Biden then said he was going to Kenosha and that whole exercise exasperated.
Late in the week the Atlantic magazine printed an article that declared that Trump had made fun of soldiers who died during a battle in WWI, calling them dupes as they lie in their graves.
I believe this lying piece of fake news was generated to take the political heat away from Nancy Pelosi, her story below.
I don't, not for a minute, believe any of the uproar over this alleged commentary by President Trump. First, he's just not that stupid to say such a thing in front of people and two, Trump expresses his admiration and appreciation of the military with sincerity quite frequently.

MAJOR CULTURE EVENTS OF THE WEEK
(one more update)
(one more update)
Nancy Pelosi goes to closed beauty salon to take care of hair while I still look like Matlock
It's not just me that looks like Matlock, yon descendants. We now have a country where the opening of churches, hair salons and gyms has been the object of arguments, debates and loud discussions.
For our hair grows, our body needs exercise, our souls need God. Yet the powerful politicos allow bars to open, Walmart, goodness, is always open, supermarkets sell food.
In San Francisco the powerful politicos were allowing hair treatment but only if outside. Yon descendants I doubt even in your advanced future such as washing, coloring, cutting and blow-drying hair is very difficult on the outside.
Which was evidently not a problem for Nancy Pelosi, holy one, who had a special stylist open a closed beauty salon so she could come in and, without bothering with such as masks that she condemns others for not wearing in public, gets her hair done that she may be beautiful and not look like Matlock.
The salon owner felt like this was very unfair in that she had employees who couldn't work, she was not allowed to open her business to the public. So since she was made aware of the Pelosi scheduled visit, she got some pics of the wet-haired Pelosi as she enjoyed the luxury of hair care without bother of a mask.
This has been the big story of the week and so the nutty story about President Trump mocking dead soldiers was released that we stop complaining about Nancy Pelosi, who is special, precious, part of the ruling elite.
It's not going to work. What Pelosi did will go down as one of the damn dumbest thing a politico ever did.

PERSONAL NOTES FROM ME RE THE PANDEMIC
(that my descendants may know how I handled it)
I had two medical appointments this week yon descendants. One was with my GP and one with my cardiovascular guy. I'd had these appointments scheduled three months prior but had to re-schedule because of....well because of the pandemic.

(that my descendants may know how I handled it)
I had two medical appointments this week yon descendants. One was with my GP and one with my cardiovascular guy. I'd had these appointments scheduled three months prior but had to re-schedule because of....well because of the pandemic.
My GP appointment was arranged by phone, called Tele-Med. If nothing else comes from this pandemic it is some rather unique forms of meeting and communicating. The GP telemed call went well, using Facetime where I could see her and she saw me.
I visited the Cardio guy and all was pretty well but....dear Lord I gained nine pounds! I complained that everyone was gaining weight, and the doctors agreed. Go with me here, I do not need those additional nine pounds. Also, my blood pressure was a little higher than normal and increased medication was prescribed.

Love Island
Whatever you do, do not watch this show if you are not female. I do not, for one single second, think that males would like this show.
As the title would indicate , the show involved a bunch of very hot-looking, single males and females with an ending that, ideally, would end in love and passion.
It's so boring but I like to listen to it as I multitask.
LOVE ISLAND is the sizzling summer series based on the international smash hit and cultural phenomenon. The matchmaking begins as a group of single “Islanders” come together in a stunning villa in Las Vegas, ready to embark on a summer of dating, romance, and ultimately, relationships. Every few days the Islanders pair up and those who are not coupled are at risk of being dumped from the island. Islanders are on the lookout for romance, but the road to love doesn’t always run smoothly. Challenges abound with intriguing new Islander arrivals and dramatic twists as friendships and relationships form. In addition to choosing their partners wisely, Islanders must also win the hearts of viewers who have the opportunity to shape events on screen and ultimately crown one lucky couple the winner who will then have the chance to walk away with both love and the cash prize.
It is a reality series with winners, losers and silly discussions.
If you are a female, and goodness for sure younger females would enjoy this contender reality series to create romantic dreams and visions.
Show is on CBS and comes on various days, at least two, sometimes three times a week.
Oddly, these preliminary couples share a bed but we are to assume that all they do is sleep.
