We will have opinions, political and cultural highlights, my personal experience, social media details, even TV reviews since I watch so much TV while in my home jail. A Stolen Election Update
So I watched the senate hearing on 12.16.20 about the election problems in many states, especially Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada and Georgia. The Democrats proclaimed that the election was very fair and honest with winners properly announced.
There was some arguments but below is a quote from the committee chair, Senator Johnson.
Note where Johnson states that bit about whether the level of fraud would alter the outcome of the election. He then states by the certification process and the electoral college vote proves that the fraud, all documented for public view, proves the fraud did NOT affect the election outcome.
Yes my descendants, I document this for you that you may know that just because the offending states certified the election doesn't mean all that fraud didn't alter the true election outcome.
They don't know what to do about it yon descendants. The Supreme Court, the lower courts, damn, even the elected senators....they all know that more than likely the outcome of this election was changed.
But they don't know how to fix it.
Holding another election is impossible by this time. How would we know a NEW election wouldn't be altered? Much less how to fit holding a new election would fit into the nation's governance.
It's a mess.
If the senators do anything they should sit down and craft rules for federal elections that all states must follow.

The real reason for all the restaurant and bar shutdowns
California and New York are going nuts shutting down every restaurant, hot dog stand and candy store due to the pandemic. Also bars are included.
Even though these places are responsible for only a few cases of a caught COVID-19 incident.
Tis the time of year, yon descendants, as I write this during the Christmas holiday season of 2020....tis the time of year from now until about mid-January when all sorts of contagious diseases are shared by humans.
First, many of the viruses are still very much alive from summer into fall. Second, humans begin to congregates indoors more as the weather turns chill, added to by holiday spirit and cheer.
Come January when winter settles in, the virus dies down greatly.
I think all these closures are an attempt to keep large groups of humans from gathering in such a manner that the virus, happy and ready to be warm, spreads more rapidly than any other time of year.
Which doesn't make these governors good people. I think it's time for us to be talked to like we are adults, not babies needing Cuomo to tell us how to live.

Thomas Magnum is a decorated former Navy SEAL who, upon returning home from Afghanistan, repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator. A charming rogue, an American hero and a die-hard Detroit Tigers fan, Magnum has Juliet Higgins and her Dobermans to keep him in line,
I started watching this series when a very handsome Tom Sellick was the star. What I watched were mostly repeats as Sellick was the star up to the early 90's. He was formerly stationed in Afghanistan and lived with a short English gentleman who watched the Hawaiian estate where they both liived for a famous American author.
Today Magnum is played by actor Jay Hernandez and the gatekeeper of the Hawaiian estate, still called "Higgins", is played by a pretty English lass.
There is a helicopter pilot co-star and that helicopter is a permanent part of the show's storyline. There is a member of the Hawaiian police force who works with Magnum and Higgins, who sometimes joins Magnum on investigative cases.
I think that Sellick played the character better than the current guy but this new series with its changes has a female co-character and there is, or course, the love angle.
This love angle works its way surreptitiously into every show's story line.
Yeah, I'm a girl and I like this idea. Because Magnum and Higgins are often all about, shooting guns, crashing airplanes, grabbing bad guys for the Hawaiian police. Right now Higgins has a doctor who is very smitten with her. Magnum acts like he does not care and Higgins is one confused mama.
This is a good show to watch late in the evening when tired and the pandemic has beat the hell out of you.
Tom Sellick had female friends on the show but they never lasted. In this version of Magnum P.I., Higgins is always around and those two love each other, don't be fooled.

Sorry About Missing Barr Story
Why yes this fly did hear that Federal Attorney General William Barr has resigned. In fact, I was in the room when President Trump told Barr he was fired but, sorry yon readers, did not get a chance to post all that happened until now.
Trump summoned Barr to the White House and there was much scuffling all about. I seldom get a chance to be in meetings with the President as there are many Secret Service types all about but besides, they seldom have snacks in the oval office so I don't much care. But somehow I got shut into a smaller office off of the oval office and to my luck, there was cookies and coffee served. I don't care for coffee, that being a human drink, but cookies have lots of crumbs. So I made myself invisible as only a fly can and studied my pursuit of crumbs.
Barr came in the office and took a seat, poured some coffee and ate a cookie. Ten minutes later Trump joined him. I landed on a side wall and calculated how to get crumbs and what the President wanted with this guy.
"Bill," President Trump began after taking a sip of that coke he always carried around. "I suspect you know why I called you here."
Barr leaned back in his seat, remained quiet for about ten seconds, took a sip of coffee and began to speak. "Donald you could have released information about the investigation into Hunter Biden before the election. Instead you got a member of your administration to leak it all to the NY Post. I don't believe in releasing information about the existence of an investigation if such release will affect the election. As I've told you many times before, just because someone is being investigated does not mean he or she is guilty."
"Yes you've told me that many times, Bill. But darn you had actual emails from Biden's laptop, you had plenty of proof, yet you kept it all from the American people."
With that the President took a sip of soda and took a deep breath. "As you must know, I have to let you go. I think you were wrong to withhold that information. It would not do for me to release the information, to come off as if I am betraying the Dept. of Justice. But without your department's affirmation the media would not cover it so too few voting Americans knew how Hunter Biden betrayed his country. You wanted to please your swamp friends, Bill, you know you did."
"I had every intention to continue the investigation after the election and to, eventually and as I did, release the fact that Hunter Biden was under investigation."
"Yeah," the President almost shouted, "now that Joe Biden will be the president."
"As I told you, Joe Biden won't remain in office long after this investigation."
"So we will have Kamala?"
"Look, you didn't win the election as of now so your argument has no merit. Likely Biden will be asked to step down and what happens after that....well who knows?"
President Trump took a deep breath and sat in silence for half a minutes. "Let's keep this nice and sane, Bill. You prepare a nice summary of your work with me and I shall do the same for you."
Trump leaned back and took another deep breath. "Which would not be a lie, Bill. I think you are a fair and decent man. But you seem to be torn between two demographics....me and this new look at the world I bring, and fond memories of your swamp buddies who made this world a mess. You did a great job but this bit about not telling Americans the guy running for the highest office in the world accepted billions of dollars in bribes with the help of his son.....you know I've disagreed with that logic. What would it take? Suppose Joe Biden was being investigated for killing his first wife? Would you have released that information?"
"NO. I'll say it again, just because he's being investigated doesn't mean he's guilty. And stop calling them swamp people!"
With this the two went on but this fly could see that this was two humans in conflict. Two humans who seemed to respect each other. But Trump kept saying Barr was aligned with the Swamp people and this confuses this fly. I am a fly and avoid swamps.
Why is all of D.C. one big swamp?
