In my weekly summary I will combine all that moved me to include my thoughts on the matter. Thus reviews of local restaurants might be included with reviews of books or television shows. There will probably always be some political thought included weekly but by all means, come and read what interests and pass by that which does not.
There are bigger issues with President Biden than we
admit
President Joe Biden told a six-year-old
girl “I love your ears” during a Thanksgiving celebration at a naval base in
Norfolk, Virginia, on Sunday.
The octogenarian approached the child,
named Catherine, and gushed her ears were “really cool” at the public event,
apparently drawn by what appeared to be her Mickey Mouse headwear.
He bent down and almost touched the
youngster as he hovered near her during the ‘”Friendsgiving'” ahead of the holiday.
The public exchange included Biden speculating the girl’s age
at 17 – she corrected him to say she is six.
The dinner at Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads wasn’t the
first time Biden has appeared drawn to admire a young child.
In the middle of a 2021 speech to
military personnel in Hampton, Virginia, the president said, looking towards
the family who was being honored, “I love those barrettes in your hair … She
looks like she’s 19-years-old”.
The picture below shows President Biden with a turkey. We might smile as we note that Biden is
kissing the turkey’s ear.
Below, we have a pic of Biden with my own Delaware Senator’s
daughter, Senator Coons.
While Biden allows anyone into this country, has almost
destroyed the economy, can’t fight a war and doesn’t seem able to walk many
places without stumbling, he has another problem with young girls and someone
ought to tell him to knock it off!

Amazing Race Soon to Have a Winner
https://www.cbs.com/shows/amazing_race
Here are the teams still in contention: Steve & Anna
Leigh (father/daughter), Ashlie & Todd (married), Robbin & Chelsea
(childhood friends), Greg & John (brothers), Rob & Corey (father/son)
and Joel & Garrett (best friends).
1 Greg & John
2. Joel & Garrett
3. Steve & Anna Leigh
4. Rob & Corey
5. Todd & Ashlie
6. Robbin & Chelsea (eliminated).
The Amazing
Race will always be, for me, one of the best reality shows. The contenders are known to each other, the
locales where they must compete are usually exotic and new to many viewers.
And the
tasks they must perform! This week they
had to construct a fake dragon deep underground, scrape barnacles off a rubber
ring in the water and find a net full of mussels. After one of the team members finish the task
a native of the country then upon will approve…or not.
After the
tasks are chosen and completed, the teams must run to meet the show’s host, Phil
Keoghen. The first team to meet up with
the host usually wins a large sum of money for reward. The very last team to come in is eliminated
from the race.
Below, the
winners for many weeks and I think they are a force to be reckoned with.

Update on
Gaza War
Like many
Americans, I listen daily to updates on the battles between Hamas and the
Israelis. And like many Americans, I am
confused by all those protesting and loudly defending the Palestinians when it
was for them and with them that Hamas suddenly and surprisingly attacked the
Israelis from the Gaza strip.
And like all
Mideast scuffles, it gets confusing…the Palestinians never really owned that
land, Iran is backing a lot of this…..yada,yada. But hey, when Japan suddenly attacked Pearl
Harbor, we didn’t stop and ask questions.
We delivered a few nuclear bombs, we do…to Japan.
So why does
Israel have to grant Hamas a cease fire? Although I know it’s for a cease fire,
etc.
I do
understand that smallish Israel is at the mercy of big powers, especially the
United States. And currently, and sadly,
the United States is being run by unqualified
leaders.
I am on
Israel’s side but such favor will dissipate should Israel succumb to Hamas/Iran.

Instead of a
silly cartoon I thought I would leave this helpful info on spices in honor of Thanksgiving
