Pic of Week: The Lie About "Blue" America

Let's Take a Closer Look at "Blue" America, shall we? Posted by Hello

When the so-called "Blue States" are further regarded on a county and city basis, well things look a bit different I would argue.

We should thank our founding fathers for having the foresight to enact an electoral college. Because if they hadn't, all of America would be governed by the homeless and recipients of government handouts that populate our big cities and Indian reservations.

"Unreceptive to new ideas." Yep, can do! This is just too ridiculous to justify an argument, but... have you looked at census information for all of those nuclear (no, wait, "nucular") test grounds out in the desert? Or how about Montana and Wyoming?

your map is wrong... my state very blue is mostly red on that.

well, considering the blue areas have denser populations, being cities and urban environments where people are actually educated enough to decipher right wing fascism from nationalism, America is about equally blue and red.

And shouldn't the people elect the president, not the electoral college? I don't see how a majority of people voting for Gore, and Bush winning, is democratic. The electoral college is supposedly anyother check and balance, but when the members of the electoral college blindly follow the party line, it is merely a brain-washed monarchy.

You may have a "blog", and access to the internet, but you're just another ignorant, dirty, murderous hick, who thinks that national pride requires international slaughter. Is your dick really that small?

GAH! Why do you insist upon making those damn distinctions? Don't you get that we're ALL Americans and ALL have a right to our own political beliefs?? Isn't that, like, the POINT of this country? I know many liberals aren't any better, but STILL... show some patriotism and national pride: love the diversity instead of minimalizing it!

maybe this map is more representative of the 2004 election...

I dont need to love or even like my president to love my country
in fact i can hate my president and still love this beautiful country
The fact remains love or hate whatever you please.

Sweet Jesus, you're slightly to the right of Hitler! Word of advice - nationalism and racism spread hate.
