Today
Daily Update-The earth keeps moving. California hit last night.

Also, Aruba story goes on and changes every minute.

Here's some Miscellany that defied classification.

Such as Al Gore's assertion that glaciers are disapparing off the very earth due to global warming.

Also a computer hint and some wisdom via a retiree's idle thoughts.

It's harder to get fired the first day on the job than one might think.

It's a TV review of a new reality show called "Fire Me Please". The premise of which is to be the first to get fired closest to 3 pm the first day on the job.

Kind of a "Candid Camera", kind of "The Apprentice".

Yon Grandmother Blogger asks reader indulgence for the shameless but impossibly cute pics of our new kitten.

Yes her name is Lucille and yes, We LOVE Lucy.

Tip leads to new search for girl missing in Aruba
Man says suspect told him Dutch teen took girl to beach
The Associated Press
Updated: 3:15 p.m. ET June 14, 2005
ORANJESTAD, Aruba - Nearly three dozen police officers launched a search Tuesday along a beach near the Marriott Hotel for Natalee Holloway after a former security guard alleged that one of three youths seen with the missing teenager had lied to police.

Antonius "Mickey" John said he was detained in a cell adjacent to one of the young men, 21-year-old Deepak Kalpoe, and that the two spent time talking.

John, 30, said Kalpoe told him that he and his 18-year-old brother, Satish, and their 17-year-old Dutch friend never went back to the Holiday Inn the morning of May 30, the day Holloway disappeared on this Dutch Caribbean island during a student trip.

Kalpoe said they instead dropped the Dutch youth and Holloway off near the Marriott, located just north of the Holiday Inn, on the same beach. John was one of two former security guards initially detained as suspects in Holloway's disappearance and then released Monday night.

Tomorrow

Here's a function every business in American must perform in this week's Consulting the Consultant.

And this function performs tasks for the government bureaucrats with no compensation for their effort.

It's a blistering rant.

~~~~~
It's a TV review of "The Cut" starring designer Tommy Hilfiger as Donald Trump.
No wait.
The show is an Apprentice rip-off but Hilfiger's a bit refreshing with his would-be designers.
Only one very large segment of the American population likely won't tune in.
~~~~~~

It's not Monty Python's dead parrot but there's similarities.

For the duck is dead in this Fishgiggles but the owner won't believe it.
