Michael Sussmann acquitted
A federal jury delivered a major setback to special counsel John Durham on Tuesday, acquitting cybersecurity lawyer Michael Sussmann on a charge that he lied to the FBI in 2016 while acting on behalf of the Hillary Clinton campaign.
Wow. They put Martha Stewart in jail for the same thing.
Can't have people lying to the FBI, that fine and fabulous law enforcement agency that once was respected.
But now the FBI is not a problem for being lied to and don't bother sending people to jail. The FBI lies all the time.
And nobody connected to the Clintons enough to make either of them look bad, will ever go to jail. Or be found guilty, for that matter.
-------------------------------------------------Texas Shooting Still A Confused Mess
Below images of all those murdered while 19 cops awaited out in the hallway, while teachers wedged doors open, while suffering humans were call 9-1-1 begging for the police.
I don't have much more information on this event except investigators are having a difficult time finding the shooter's birth certificate, Salvador Ramos. Texas authorities say he was born in North Dakota but as of this writing it would seem the birth certificate disappeared.
There still is a lot of confusion about how this came down, but not to repeat myself, as of this writing, yet another multi-shooting has occurred in Tulsa, Oklahoma by a perpetrator who was angry at the surgeon who recently operated on him.
Early reporting had the event summed up quickly. The police reacted quickly. The perp was shot while he busy shooting others.
Could be a lesson learned, I dunno.

--------Understanding a thermostat
I have the worst thermostat in the world in this day and age and I hate it.
Not that it's all that strange. Indeed it is exactly the same sort of thermostat that was on my home furnaces both as a child and my purchased homes. But in this day and age, when all you need to do is talk to most thermostats today but no, I have those old-fashioned round things with pointers at the top for what temperature you want it to be and at the bottom you turn into your favored temperature. At the top of this round thing from hell, there is a button to flip to HEAT or COOL. There is another knob on the left side that says AUTO and ON.
Been living here 23 years and every year I wrestle with setting the temp (is it the top little hard-to-see-needle or the bottom one?) and I've never learned what those little buttons mean on the top of the round thing from hell.
Ok I'm done.
Needed to get it off my chest.
