It was an interesting, and funny show on this episode of Food Network's "Worst Cooks in America".

With only six contenders left the competition gets good.  The contenders have come quite a long way since this show's beginning.

Show begins with a seafood challenge.  How hard can this be I ask myself. After a few seafood related clues the red team wins challenge and are charged with making empanadas with a dipping sauce.

I do not know what an empanada is but based on the judging Chefs preparation it appears to be some complicated appetizer.  Picture below.

I was surprised to learn that Lesley is from Maryland.  OF COURSE SHE'S PUTTING CRAB MEAT IN HER EMPANADA!!!

Blue team
Leo-Alton praised.
Mike-Alton thought ok, did not over praise.
Kelly-Alton thought her sauce was entirely too spicy.

Red team
Lesley-made crab empanada, Ann thought dough was too dark
Bridgette-Ann noted she did not have enough bacon.
Shannon-Ann thought her empanadas were great.

Next challenge-prepare a shellfish dish.  Ann was lobster rolls.  Alton using mussels, instructing how to determine if mussel is dead.  Ann's lobsters are alive at time of prep.

I have no idea how to prepare mussels.  Or lobster for that matter.  But since I am from Maryland, I know how to do crabs.

Blue team
Alton declares Leo's mussels well done.
Mike -Alton made no comment
Kelly-said it was okay.

Red team
Bridgette Ann said too much onion in her slaw...said "not bad".
Shannon Ann enjoyed her lobster roll, slaw needs to be creamier.
Lesley-she mixed her lobster into her cole slaw and picked it out manually.  Lots of tears.  Ann said it tasted good, no mayo in her slaw.

Alton declared Leo safe.
Ann declared Shannon safe

Bridgette/Lesley in Ann's bottom two.
Mike/Kelly Alton's bottom two.

SENT HOME from Ann's team-Bridgette.
SENT HOME from Alton's team-Mike.
