Yes I am compiling a Blog about the great pandemic of 2020 and how my country stupidly shut down the economy. We will have opinions, political and cultural highlights, my personal experience, social media details, even TV reviews since I watch so much TV while in my home jail. We shall, as always, end with a smile.

MAJOR POLITICAL EVENTS OF THE WEEK
(another update)
Georgia and Pennsylvania and the Kraken
I would imagine that my descendants by the time they read this will know about the mess caused by the elections of 2020. Accompany an election with a pandemic and, well you got a mess.
As of this writing the entire election is still up in the air. Former VP Biden calls himself the "President-Elect" while current President Trump is almost nowhere to be seen.
Meanwhile a tribe of lawyers is steadfastly running various causes of cheating they claim happened to change the outcome of the election from Trump to Biden.
Yon descendants, whatever the outcome, know the election was probably stolen by the Democrats. Please make sure your history books teach you the details or, by all means, get a book and read about what a mess it was.
MAJOR CULTURE EVENTS OF THE WEEK
(one more update)
Thanksgiving
The biggest news about the Thanksgiving of 2020 is the demand by various of our rulers who declared we should not have more than ten guests in our home on the day of the holiday.
Such demand made most of the country angry. We'd put up with not being able to eat in restaurants, go to the movies, have a beer in a bar. But to be denied Thanksgiving dinner with our family (if larger than ten people) or to have the cops barge into our homes and arrest us all was not in popular favor. Even the cops refused to do such a thing.

Review of all three CHICAGO shows...Chicago Med, Chicago PD, Chicago Fire
One Chicago returns to NBC on. Wednesday, January 6 starting with Med at 8 p.m. ET, Fire at 9 p.m. ET, and P.D. at 10 p.m. ET.
Let us begin with the one thing that is....er....unlikeable about these shows.
Why are they all named CHICAGO something? I mean, it's not like the city of Chicago is famous for being expertly governed, a pristine city populated with wonderful medics, a great fire department, a police department filled with perfect cops.
However the shows have pretty good storylines.
Chicago Med has a great slew of medicos, including a crazy psychiatrist, with everyone loving everyone, some good medical storylines. The Chicago fire department series has good characters, a great fire chief, firefighters that own a bar on the side. The Chicago PD had cops that are rough and tough as one would expect with a great police chief who is steel on the outside, soft on the inside.
These shows entertain, if nothing else, and even if, at times, a bit unbelievable.
Beginning with the city of their locales.

THE FLY ON THE WALL
ELECTIONS
-----------------------------
It was right after the recent election that I recalled a meeting that I attended with no idea what it was all about. I heard the election rhetoric on the TV set as I scrounged for crumbs near the table. Then it all came back to me and began to make sense.
I did not know, nor do I remember, the name of a single attendee at that meeting. I recall that there were refreshments served and this is very important to a fly. I do know that the attendees were from many different what humans in America call states.
"We got Pennsylvania all set up," I recall one attendee shouting out with glee.
"Georgia's ready to go," another attendee said with a joyous tone.
"Are you guys sure there's no way anyone can catch on?" one attendee said with a sharp tone, evidently the human in charge of this meeting.
"We got the voting machines ready and several programmers on the side," another attendee assured.
"What are you going to do if the opposition party wants a closer look at any of the results?"
"We got counters prepared to claim a water main break. We even have some bottles of water stored in case we need some liquid to prove," yet another voice claimed.
"If it gets bad enough we just won't let them in to observe," another human countered.
"That's not legal...," the human in charge inserted. Yet another human held up his hand in protest.
"We've been cheating in elections for many years," a human saying he was from Wisconsin said. "They won't bother to go much further. We got programmers that know way more than any Republicans. We got ballot counters that will follow instructions as regards such as signatures, postmark dates. We have deliveries scheduled in the middle of the night. Everybody knows Republicans don't stay up past 9 pm."
"We got this," yet another attendee shouted.
"Hell we'll board up the windows if anyone should persist. We won't have any problems. We got Obama elected. We almost go Hillary in there but we really underestimated how many votes we'd have to add. With Biden we got as many ballots as we will ever need. We will win this."
And with this the human in charge stood and clapped his hands.
"Okay," he said. "We got the mail ballots approved, we got a standard to get them out there. Joe Biden will be our next President. Keep him off the campaign trail as much as possible, ok?"
All attendees nodded yes to that request and now....well now I understand what that meeting was all about. It only the humans knew what went on right under their noses.
