The Election Nightmare of 2020
If the year 2020 were not enough with the pandemic, I say to my descendants, know that the year ended with a presidential election that, as I write this, turned out to be a nightmare.
At this time the networks have declared Joe Biden the winner of the election and refer to him as the "President-Elect". Meanwhile since the day of the election all we've been hearing about is cheating....cheating with the ballots, cheating by having dead people vote, cheating by having a software program that automatically changes Trump votes to Biden, cheating by putting heavy cardboard in front of the windows of polling counting places so observers cannot see what goes within.
There are pictures and testimony about this cheating but as of this writing, Biden is winning.
I am an overwhelmed citizen. I do not know what to believe.
Wait! Take that back. What I believe is that some way, some how, Biden has stolen this election.
But what I believe has nothing to do with the reality.
Just because a few thousand dead people voted in Wisconsin it wouldn't change the outcome of the election.
Just because some geeky postal clerk says his boss told him to change dates....it won't change the outcome of the election.
Just because some polling officers handled observers wrong will not change the outcome of the election.
I have heard very little about this software thing except that somewhere many thousands of votes were changed from Trump to Biden but, then again yon descendants, it's not enough to change the outcome of the election.
So all the cheating is not enough to change the outcome of an election so we should accept the outcome and we will deal with the cheating after a new president is inaugurated and life in America goes on.
Meanwhile we will have a known cheater and bribe recipient in office. Our taxes will go up, gas prices will sky rocket, China will take over the world.
And this citizen is left dazed and not believing that the country she so loved has come to this.
Me and 72 million citizens who voted for Donald Trump, who believe that the election was stolen.
But it was not enough cheating to change the outcome of the election.
So we must accept it.
Just know yon descendants that once upon a time America was a great country where dead people did not vote, where observers were allowed to oversee the counting of the votes, where China did not succeed in infiltrating the country for takeover.
I can't do a thing about it.
There's just not enough to change the outcome of this election.

Death of celebrities is normally not a big deal with me but since I wrote my last Blog post two of my favorite celebrities have died and they are worth a mention.
Sean Connery was the first 007, a famous movie character named James Bond, a secret agent before secret agent controlled American elections.

Alex Trebek was the host of the famous game show Jeopardy for many years. He had been battling pancreatic cancer for a few years but he lived to be 80 so he had a few years.
Like most Americans, I loved Trebek. He was a perfect game show host.
May he rest in game show peace.

Shark Tank
Shark Tank is one my most favorite shows, if not my favorite. Students should be required to watch this show as its a quick, easy and entertaining way to learn how capitalism works.
The Sharks are billionaire Mark Cuban, owner and chairman of AXS TV and outspoken owner of the 2011 NBA champions, Dallas Mavericks; real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran; "Queen of QVC" Lori Greiner; technology innovator Robert Herjavec; fashion and branding expert Daymond John; and venture capitalist Kevin O'Leary.
Each Shark transaction begins with someone entering the room to present their invention. Food items are especially popular. A contender might bring a sports drink they have created. Each Shark gets a chance to taste the product.
A product might be something to help with the baby, items for the car, kitchen items that make life easier.
The contender will ask for the investment they want from the Shark. At that point each Shark either accepts the offer, makes a counter-offer, or pulls out of the competition completely.
Now about the Sharks, who I feel like I know well.
I cannot stand Mark Cuban. First he makes few offers so I think he's cheap. Next he gets involved in politics in which the world does not need Mark Cuban. I also do not like Barbara Corcoran because during this past election season she expressed praise on some talk show or another for former NY Mayor Bloomberg and said we all should vote for him. That talking point shows me she's not too smart.
I do quite adore Lori Greneir. Of course she's involved with Home Shopping Network, she knows her stuff, she's generous and fair with her offers. Robert Herjevac is ok as he did appear on Dancing With the Stars and I think he married his partner. Daymond John is nice enough guy, fair and steady.
Kevin O'Leary keeps the show interesting. Almost every offer he makes involves getting some kind of return on a per unit basis instead of one lump sum the contenders usually offer for a percentage of their business.
It's a great show and has been very successful.
Watch and learn how economics really works.

Yes I am a fly and yes I also Blog. I tend to wander around among the politicians and hear their conversation. Because I am a fly beneficial to humanity, I share that which I hear. Bear in mind my spelling. I am, after all, only a fly.

LEADERS
As I pondered in that manner of flies pondering things I recall a strange meeting I "attended" that, at the time, made no sense to me. But then again most human things make no sense to me.
There were about ten humans at the meeting and Valeria was, as I have since determined, the "teacher". I furtively searched for crumbs dropped by the humans from their refreshments but it was an interesting meeting.
First thing, without saying a word, Valeria turned on the human movie projector thing. It was a very odd movie.
"What do you see here?" Valeria asked the attendees.
It was showing some kind of cave with rocks that served as bunk bed type of affairs. The rock bunk beds lined both sides of a cave and each rock bed was occupied by humans, sometimes only one human, some rock beds with two humans, a male and female, and a few rock beds, larger than the others, were occupied by what appeared to be human families. All the humans, strange looking to my fly eyes in that they did walk on two legs but their arms dragged. Also they only seemed to be wearing loin cloth things. The humans in that movie looked nothing like the humans in the room.
In the middle of this rock bunk bed formation, on the floor of the cave and visible by all humans in the rock bunk beds, two humans were starting a fire and appeared to be cooking some food. They talked to each other in some kind of strange talk and were busy doing human stuff, cooking, cleaning, sometimes arguing with each other. Meanwhile the rest of the humans remained in their rock bunk beds and watched what was going on below.
"What you see here is a group of humans, living in a cave, in prehistoric times," Valeria began an explanation and I am glad because like the rest of the attendees this fly didn't know what was going on.
"The humans in the middle of the rock bunk beds and on the floor of the cave are the leaders," Valeria continued and my fly ears perked. Flies have their mothers laying eggs in poop as our leaders but this human story interested me.
"Now I am going to fast forward this video that you can see what happens when all of the humans come out of their rock beds."
As I watched all of the humans on the video screen were out of their beds and....well I guess interacting would be the human word to describe. They were all, in some form or fashion receiving help and/or instruction from the family that had been in the middle of the cave while the rest of the humans watched from their bunk rock beds.
Valeria ordered all attendees to get some refreshments while she lit her perpetual cigarette thing.
"What you saw is the equivalent of human beings today watching a news show, reading a newspaper, browsing on social media. They are learning from their leaders. Now you need to know what you will be doing as part of your new assignments."
Valeria leaned back and took a long drag from the cigarette. "Suppose those "leaders"....the guys in the middle of the cave....began having sex with the same sex?" she asked and my fly ears once again raised high. Why would humans do such a thing?
"Suppose they began to fondle the human children inappropriately?" she again asked. Again I wondered why humans would do such a thing.
"My point is," Valeria continued," the humans in the rock beds are learning human behavior from their leaders. And if said human behaviors were to change drastically, or even make no sense in terms of biology, well it doesn't matter. The humans will follow their leaders as that is how survival of the fittest works."
"How does that affect what you want us to do?" one attendee asked.
Valeria leaned back and looked at the questioner with shrewd eyes, took a last drag on the cigarette and leaned back.
"Some of you were chosen because you like the same sex more than the opposite sex. Some of you were chosen because you are more fond of children than you should be. Some of you were chosen for your ability to play a role....a role you will be assigned. "
Valeria arose as she does when she's about to end the meeting. "Some of you will be newspaper editors, some of you will own social media sites, many of you will be politicians. And like those people in the rock bunk beds watching their leaders from above, the people of America will watch you on television, will read your articles in your newspapers and yes, many of you will be elected. For example, Joe Biden, you are overly fond of young children. You will be photographed with your hands groping young ones and given enough time, the people watching you, like the people in the cave rock beds, will think that is appropriate behavior and in due course who knows? Your behavior will become acceptable and maybe you will be elected president!"
I flew away at that point because then I knew how humans manipulated their culture to make that which is biologically incorrect, that which gives power to the bad ones, that which has the humans accepting what their human leaders do as the right way to live.....well with the recent human election, now I understand.
