We will have opinions, political and cultural highlights, my personal experience, social media details, even TV reviews since I watch so much TV while in my home jail. CPAC
This past week, yon descendants, was the annual gathering of Conservatives. This would be REAL Conservatives, not those who pretend to be as they wallow in the Swamp of D.C. like the fakes they are.
Dan Bongino gave a rousing speech. Kristi Noem, the next female elected President, gave a wonderful speech. She's got what it takes, is attractive, well-dressed, in good shape with a brain almost as good as mine yon descendants.
President Trump was the highlight speech of the entire event and he came out swinging.
Mitch McConnell began changing his tune. Others who spoke bad about Trump shut their mouths.
Because, yon descendants, I don't know what your future history books will reveal about the 45th president, Donald Trump. But for now he is still beloved by us heathens out here in la-la land.
If doesn't become president again, he will be major in deciding who will be.

Golden Globes
The biggest note about the Golden Globes was how boring they are, how this gathering of a bunch of self-declared important entertainment critics have not one....NOT ONE, person of color amongst their some 70+ members.
Oh, and yon descendants, pretty much nobody watched it. In case this event is no more in your era, thought I'd mention about what might have been the last televised Golden Globe tribute to vanity and boredom.
Notably, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the organization of international journalists which organizes the Golden Globes, does not have a single Black member.

Romney and his strange "fall"
It's been reported that former Governor of Massachusetts and Senator from Utah somehow fell and made of....well his face looks pretty bad, see above.
It is said that he took a nasty fall. He was visiting his children and grandchildren in Massachusetts, as the news reported, but no details on how he fell and what caused it.
But he sure looks bad.
I suspect he'd been drinking although to be fair I've never read anything about Mittens having any major drinking problem.
But it's obvious that he fell flat on his face. Someone able to break a fall, as drunks often are too inebriated to do, would not have such a damaged face.

And finally it was revealed that several of the books written by Dr. Seuss will be "unpublished". One such banned Seuss book featured Chinese-eyed characters eating with chopsticks.
Can't have Chinese people eating with chopsticks.
Yon descendants, know that these books once existed. Go out and find them cause they may be worth money someday.

Got an email from the state of Delaware that Covid vaccine by Johnson and Johnson will be available in Delaware this weekend. I clicked on the web site and in due course will be vaccinated on March 6.
The advantage of this is that for the J&J vaccine one only needs one shot.

Inside Edition
I don't have a lot to say about this televised entertainment magazine as, well there's not much to say.
What I will say is that Inside Edition is a show I love to watch/listen to when I am busy about the house.
The show features all kinds of short stories about celebrities, pop culture, political tales. I can listen to the show very well and if something catches my imagination or I want to hear more, I sit down and enjoy the segment.
Believe me, if the media controls the message, Inside Edition polishes it up and presents it to the world, to the young and old that really care.
Do they always get it right?
No!
Inside Edition takes what it is told and just reports it that way.
There is no investigation, no checking it out, no phone calls to verify.
I find it very telling in revealing how pop culture views the world.
It's an entertaining show but do not ever take it all that seriously.

President Trump's Speech at CPAC
Let me set the record straight that President Trump is not the best speech giver around. At least as I see it. He was, and still is, a great leader in crowd vocals. He can shout his piece and the crowd shall respond with adoration.
But for normal and calm speechafying, I don't consider Trump the best ever. However, if one is comparing to this current awful president, Trump is truly an expert.
The speech President Trump gave last Sunday at the 2021 CPAC conference was a marvelous speech.
He followed a logic, kept it orderly and on topic.
He was, and this is the one thing that annoys me about Donald Trump, very late to begin the speech. I don't like people that are always late. People that are always late think our time doesn't matter. We will give Trump a little leeway in that he is a former president, subject to the details of security and personal protection, last minute phone calls, yada, yada. But damn he began the CPAC 2021 over an hour late.
The crowd loved him. He held me mesmerized during the hour and a half speech. It was well-written, well-spoken....a real winner.
Immediately after the speech the Never-Trumpers came out and attempted to please the angry Trump lovers. Mitch McConnell, an awful man, was the first, saying he will support whoever gets future nominations to the presidency. Nikki Haily came out next.
The Republicans know that President Trump is not going away anytime soon, that he will be a factor in the Republican party of the future.
The wonderful CPAC 21 speech was the icing on the cake.

"Do As Much As You Can"
All I know after landing in the big meeting room at the end of the hall of the big building, was that all the attendees were Democrats. I didn't know about the meeting in advance, but as I flew around the room looking for crumbs I heard the many conversations and determined that this meeting was to discuss the current administration and the "damage" it is causing.
I learned more as a big man stood up and shouted that all should sit down to begin the discussion.
"I've been hearing all the complaints from you and other Representatives and Senators about how the American people are angry at changes the Biden administration is making," a smallish man with glasses whose name was something like Shoemer.
"They're getting so mad that they're hearing talk, from Democrats understand, to try and kick Joe out of there," some guy with a weird looking tie shouted.
"We figure we got until 2022 to accomplish all the things we need to get done. We don't expect to have power for too long but we got it now and will for two years. Biden has been instructed to do as much as he and Kamala can," Shoemer said.
"They're talking of impeaching Biden," someone shouted.
Shoemer pounded that hammer thing and called for order.
"Biden is to do as much as he can. Forget about impeachment. Republicans don't have the courage to even try it. For now, Biden is to open the borders wide, stop the building of the pipeline, fill the capitol with the National Guard, work on defunding the police and do everything our liberal base wants. Come 2022 Biden will probably resign for health, if not before that. For now, tell your colleagues that Biden is going to do everything he can, no matter how mad he makes them."
I am just a fly and understand that another human has recently been named King Human. I've also had lots of chances to listen to the Republicans cry and moan over the southern wall and former King Human Donald Trump.
Thank me very much yon reading humans that you now know what is coming your way. I hear they are working hard at removing King Human Trump out of the public spotlight completely.
