I don't know much about Matt Gaetz except that...well he has marvelous hair. And I found out some more on the show Inside Edition.
It turns out that Gaetz says it's all a form of extortion and the charge that he was having a relationship with a 17 year old is very false.

One thing you will learn about doctors by watching this show is that they all have sex with each other and they never bother locking the door when making out in the linen closet.

The lawmaker told The Times he suspects somebody is trying to extort him and his family for $25 million.
“I have a suspicion that someone is trying to recategorize my generosity to ex-girlfriends as something more untoward,” he told the newspaper.
He added in a series of tweets Tuesday night that he and his family have been working with the feds in an investigation that involves a former DOJ official seeking to extort him. “My father has even been wearing a wire at the FBI’s direction to catch these criminals. The planted leak to the FBI tonight was intended to thwart that investigation,” Gaetz wrote.

On the surface here it looks like someone was trying to extort Gaetz with the FBI allegedly investigating. There was a planted leak to the FBI which suddenly showed up in various publications, to include, SURPRISE!, the NY Times. So we now know where the Times gets all it's "secret" information.
But I watched Inside Edition and found out that Gaetz is a bachelor, once flirted with Trump's daughter, and got engaged to a 26 year old at Maralago.
Goodness knows what is the truth although I don't see this guy hanging out with a 17 year old.
And the media.....always lying. Take everything you hear like this with huge grains of salt.

Grey's Anatomy is an American medical drama television series that premiered on March 27, 2005, on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) as a mid-season replacement. The fictional series focuses on the lives of surgical interns, residents, and attendings as they develop into seasoned doctors while balancing personal and professional..
First I have to make a confession.
I have been binge-watching Grey's Anatomy on Netflix for the past couple of months. No, I don't lay on the couch the entire weekend and watch the episodes but on any given day I will usually watch two to three episodes. I am very familiar with the characters in this series for the first ten seasons. And I do watch the current series, the 17th year, every week but get completely lost in what is going on with those characters currently.
The main characters to shape the show are Derek Shepherd, also known as Dr. Dreamy. Meredith Grey's mother was seriously involved in growing the hospital with the characters below all part of the series as it developed.

One thing you will learn about doctors by watching this show is that they all have sex with each other and they never bother locking the door when making out in the linen closet.
I'm not that crazy about the characters although we also learn that doctors love to dig around in peoples' bodies, and often fight over the privilege. Since Grey's Anatomy is a hospital show, there is, in each episode, some medical dilemma that keeps your interest. Well MY interest, at least.
It could be a mother bearing a child for a barren daughter, two people in the same hospital room awaiting a new kidney with only one currently available, an ER patient being rushed in with a large metal rod going through his chest.. The characters themselves suffer medical emergencies, which keeps it kind of interesting.
The characters have unique personalities and there are a few lesbians to keep it modern and liberal.

My Book Plot-Tell Me if this Will Work

It sounds kind of crazy but I'm perfecting the plot.
It starts with a newly elected President of the United States. Guy was never a politico before and as he takes office he begins changing everything that several generations of prior presidents did wrong.
The economy soared, new natural gas lines took all the power away from the Muslims, runaway immigration was stopped, taxes were reduced. The citizenry was happy and productive.
But the genuine politicos, those elected types who had never did anything but get elected and then formed a tight knit group to do things that would please themselves, could not stand the guy who was fixing things for the dumbbell citizens but making obtaining plenty of money and prestige for themselves as they are used to, very difficult any more.
Somehow they manage to rig the mid-term election and kick the one making all the stupid citizens so happy out of office.
Then they managed to get some old guy who had been VP for four years and had been in many positions in the government for over 37 years before that.
This guy was so ancient with a decrepit and sinful son, a family who gained millions over the years. He could barely walk and his brain couldn't remember what he said a minute ago.
The guy who got cheated out of an election was not only greatly mistrusted by the opposition political party, his own political party wanted him kicked out.
The old guy, upon cheating election result, opens the borders for uncontrolled immigration, stops the movement of natural gas, raises taxes and makes the citizens who were once so happy very disgruntled.
My book would continue this story that would include a massive virus attack by another country that wanted all the power, in the case of my book, China. I would continue the story, describing how the hating politicos managed to get things back to suiting them and eventually turn over the government and control of the rest of the world to China.
In the end all Americans would speak either Spanish and/or Chinese. The citizens of the United States would learn to keep quiet lest another massive virus attack come upon that kills the old people, than all the dogs, than all the children of the unelected.
America would be no more.
Still working on the ending.

Gun Control
I happened to end up in this...what was evidently a meeting on making gun control happen for the Biden administration, by accident. I was flying around the capitol office building and saw a tray of donuts being wheeled into a room and figured, as one hungry fly, that this was for me.
"We need to get more background reforms in, and do it quickly," one of the attendees was saying as I flew inside the room.
"Why can't we just ban guns?" another attendee asked.
"It's part of the constitution and the gun nuts will never let it happen," another attendee responded, kind of humanly sarcastic.
"Every time we get a chance to argue against gun ownership, like when there is a mass shooting that captures the public's attention, we got to move forward. Someday we will be able to ban guns except for those who need one for their job but it's going to take some convincing," another attendee said.
"I say we concentrate on mental illness attention this time. There's a lot of leeway on mental illness," the first attendee said.
"Yeah, we can get guns out of a lot of hands if we make a case that the one wanting to purchase a gun is a bit nuts, has a former restraining order, once threatened to kill his father-in-law. We can cut gun ownership by 40% by pushing this narrative and make ways for it to be established and followed," another attendee said and as I munch a crumb I thought, wouldn't my humans love to know how very hard a bunch of people are trying to take their guns?
"We can get restraining orders on a lot of people. Make it a campaign," another attendee said. "Courts give restraining orders on anyone who requests one for a particular individual. Then they get their gun taken away and they cannot buy another. With some organization and a dedicated team we can get plenty of guns banned."
The first talker stood up indicating an end to the meeting.
"Give us time. We will never totally eliminate guns but we sure can reduce gun ownership by almost half by working on it. We need to get these people away from their guns."
With this that commenter slapped the first guy on the back and they walked out. I don't know who this last guy who spoke but I did notice he was Chinese.
