Cops Turn Back on Chicago Mayor Lightfoot
Mayor Lori Lightfoot was given the cold shoulder by CPD rank and file about midnight Saturday at the University of Chicago Medical Center when she approached them on the 7th floor as they grappled with the shootings of two fellow officers.
Chicago Police Officer Ella French was shot and killed during a traffic stop Saturday night in West Englewood, while her partner continues to fight for his life at the hospital. Three people are in custody.
Mayor Lightfoot deserved to have the view of the backs of the fellow officers of the slain Chicago officers, one who died....as they turned away from her. She has regularly declared that police should be defunded as crime in Chicago rises to cause citizens to run to other states.
And to have the police turn their backs on the Mayor who caused all of this.

Governor Cuomo Resigns
FINALLY!
This man is the most arrogant, narcissistic human being on the planet. To add to his awful demeanor, he has a terrible brother and as I learned the other day, his father, Mario Cuomo, had a bridge named after him and this factoid shocked me.
The Tappan Zee bridge is a regular part of any travel from my section of the woods in the mid-Atlantic to New England, a trip made often due to relatives living in Massachusetts. I loved and adored the Tappan Zee Bridge.
Well the bridge is still there but I had no idea they changed the name to the Mario Cuomo bridge.
I didn't know Mario Cuomo but I know all about his two sons. He evidently taught his children to be full of themselves and expect to have bridges named after them.
Andrew Cuomo thought he could kill elderly flu victims to receive extra federal bucks, so he did. He thought a woman's body anywhere in his presence was his to feel and caress as he desired. He thought having staff write his lying tale of a book was perfectly fine.
He was a Cuomo after all.

Hunter Biden Laptop Story

Hunter Biden claimed Russians stole another one of his laptops for blackmail while he was close to overdosing in a Las Vegas hotel room, DailyMail.com can reveal.
The alleged incident would mean Hunter lost a total of three computers - the first abandoned at a Delaware computer store and the second seized by federal agents - each likely to hold sensitive information on President Joe Biden and the embarrassing pictures, videos and communications of his son.
The third laptop still appears to be missing – and was taken by Russian drug dealers after they partied with Hunter in Vegas, he told a prostitute in a conversation caught on camera.
Three laptops this guy has somehow lost and finally the really nasty parts are made public.
This jerk is selling painting, the son of the President of the United States. WHERE ARE THE REPUBLICANS???
Why aren't they passing motions to chastise the sitting president for this folly? Why aren't they impeaching Biden? Trump would have been impeached twelve times already for this obvious malfeasance with power.
I ask again, why aren't the Republicans holding press conferences every day? Why aren't they beseeching the public to bombard their Representatives to do something about this Hunter Biden?
We can't make this asshole just go away?

The hourlong show, featuring hosts Sunny Anderson, Katie Lee, Jeff Mauro, Marcela Valladolid and Geoffrey Zakarian, shares simple dinner recipes and family meal tips, plays trivia games, and answers viewer questions in addition to just shooting the breeze about all things food.
This show has been on Food Network since 2004, yet I had never watched, or even heard of, it.
I do like food shows, of a sort. I like to watch, for example, Master Chef or other food competition shows. The "problem" I might have with these sorts of shows is that often the food is judged by how pretty it looks on the plate than by how it tastes.
Well at least that's my impression from out here in audience land.where I am able to SEE the food as arranged so prettily on the plate but cannot taste it.
The Kitchen is not a cooking competitive show. The four hosts have a cooking theme per show and prepare dishes to fit the theme.
An example might be quick summer meals.
The real winner on this show is how the cooks prepare the entire meal for the audience while describing shortcuts and hacks that will make it easier to prepare and great as a meal.
I have learned so much from watching just this show. I have learned very little from watching Master Chef except how to arrange the food prettily on the plate.
On The Kitchen the cooks describes how to prepare the pan for frying, how to cut the ingredients, how to season the meal. The whole time the cook is DOING these things and my eyebrows raise as...hey I didn't know that.
Try to catch this show on Food Network and find how much you can learn.
If you want to make pretty food watch Master Chef.

THE FLY ON THE WALL
Yes I am a fly and yes I also Blog. I tend to wander around among the politicians and hear their conversation. Because I am a fly beneficial to humanity, I share that which I hear. Bear in mind my spelling. I am, after all, only a fly.
Racism and Hollywood
I am a fly and rarely watch television. But what with flying all about the big capitol building I have begun to watch the cable news shows and in due course, the many other shows the humans so love.
I don't quite understand this big deal about human racism as all house flies are black so we don't argue so much about black and white.
With all this established, some of the things this fly has noticed on the human TV can be explained by the meeting I attended between Valeria and some TV producers.
"We want you to have more mixed couples competing, especially on the romance-related reality shows," Valeria said to the TV moguls. "We need to train Americans that a black man and a white woman, or a black woman and a white man. can make a fine couple. Television helps to train young minds. It's a way to encourage the mixing of the races."
"We find at times," one of the TV producers said, "that mixing the races....say...," the fellow stopped to seek a word from the air around him as humans tend to do. After the pause he found the word and said "in The Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" series......mixing of the races tends to drive our ratings down."
"That's why we ask you to take a deep breath and start showing mixed race couple to be acceptable," Valeria jumped in. "Kids learn more from television than you could know," Valeria continued. "We just want some help from you to encourage the mixing of the races."
"We even had a lesbian couple on Bachelor Paradise," another TV guy at the meeting said and in his anxiousness to make his point dropped a cookie and left it lying about. Now this fly had an entire cookie to munch upon, filled with crumbs even!
"Yes," Valeria said with a big smile. "We want to teach the children that two men can love each other as well as two women. Again, this sort of stuff is learned on television."
They all talked on and on, discussing what other shows should feature homosexual and mixed race couples, to include "Love Island", "Big Brother" and many other non-reality shows as well.
This fly was happy with that cookie and in the days that followed I noted that the TV people kept their word as the humans mixed with race and sex as asked by Valeria with promise of money to be paid for compliance.
