Delaware 10/6/04-What's Going on With the Signs?

Delaware-Three Electoral Votes and Ready to Rumble
==========================================

Before going on to the big story about Delaware this week, bookmark the link below because this is a great Delaware insider web site with possibly the best political reporter in the world.
Hats off to Cynthia Cohen, may I someday be your equal when it comes to political reporting. I figure, hey, some smart media’s going to come along and grab Cynthia then Kaitlyn’s grandmother will have been trained by same to assume the empty position.

For now, next Delaware entry, we’re going to discuss grocery stores along Route 1 in Rehoboth.

Check out The Delaware Grapevine.

Cynthia, your JackPAC article was splendiforous.

THERE ARE NO BUSH-CHENEY SIGNS IN THE STATE OF DELAWARE!

Whew. I feel better.

Where the hell is the Republican party in this state? Three times now I’ve tried to get Bush-Cheney signs. Once I was told there plenty available, come on in. When I showed up an hour later they were all out.

Okay, so it’s possible the signs once in a while run dry. But I see this total lack of Bush-Cheney signage as national Republican indicator that they don’t think Delaware’s going to do well for Bush-Cheney.

The national Republican party simply has no respect for the state of Delaware but who can blame them? The north is so liberal it thinks it’s New Jersey. The exploding southern Delaware is still considered country bumpkin status, as well as hostile territory to Ruth Minner.
Ah so, tides change. When the Republican party gets a gander at how Delaware backs Bush this next election, not to mention ingrained good-ole-boys on county councils, well we’ll get a lot more respect.

What is it with all these Lynn Rogers signs anyway?

Oh, forgot. The man owns a sign company.
