Michael Barone has always been one of my pundit heroes. I’ve loved the guy since he was managing editor of Reader’s Digest.
Two of three members of the Axis of Evil as spelled out by George W. Bush, Iran and North Korea, are both currently acting up and strutting their nukes. Barone offers another possible solution to deal with these two rogue regimes other than invading them outright.
Something Kerry seems to be touting though he says our foray into Iraq was wrong.
According to Barone:
Iran and North Korea are difficult issues. Negotiations seem unlikely to succeed, and regime change by military action seems unfeasible.
