Electronic Advent Calendars : A Concept Whose Time Has Come

As a child I adored Advent Calendars. I loved peeking into the little doors to see what surprise was behind. Though I never did just one a day. Mine own weisenheimer self always opened them all up at once.

Now we have electronic Advent calendars, an example of which is linked below. I don’t know if this particular advent calendar disallows viewing beyond the current date. Or if the new animations and music are uploaded on a daily basis making advance peeking worthless. Either way, these features certainly could be programmed into this new breed of Advent calendars. Which would mean that Granddaughter Kaitlyn Mae could be stopped by the power of HTML code from committing the peeking sins of her Grandmother.

Thanks to Linda from the Creativity Circle for this perfect-for-the-season find.

Holidays on the Net invites you to join us as we count down
to Christmas Day with our animated Advent Calendar. Featuring holiday animations and seasonal music, our calendar begins December 1st and continues through Christmas Day Dec. 25th. Come back each day for a new animation.
