Daily Update 8/19/05

Today
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Time for some Gossip/Rumor and Speculation.
Including more Matt LeBlanc nonsense, the no-budget movie about a stalker, the latest fad of nipple twisting.
Oh, and some "asked and guessed" blind items.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Time to catch up on news from the First State.

Including the long awaited winner of the Delaware State Fair's "Dean Scream" contest.

Oh, and New Castle county's former executive and his lady friend. Who had Delaware taxpayer paid employees helping them move and delaying police search warrants.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's time for a giggle in this Fishgiggles entry.
For what, exactly, is a dog?
And what, exactly, is a cat?
Cindy Sheehan on Her Way Out?
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
She says she'll be back.
The lore goes that Cindy Sheehan, vaunted anti-war activist, betrayer of her hero son, and beloved by the liberals, is going home.
Her mother has suffered a stroke.
Or say they say.
If true, my prayers and hope for a full recovery to her mother. Even if not true may Cindy's poor mother find some sort of peace. For notice how little we've heard from Cindy's family. Normally the LameStream Media likes to dig into a story like the tunnel rats they are. If Sheehan's family wanted to talk there'd be everyone from Greta to Chrissy Matthews right there with a microphone.
Also, next week there is scheduled a massive caravan to descend upon Texas, details below for those interested.
The lunatics supporting Sheehan, including a whole lot of Arab money, have done telephone surveys, taken secret polls and conducted focus groups.
They've discovered that the vast majority of American people are disgusted with Sheehan and her ilk.
"Cindy, you're doing more harm than good," the kook was told.
What better way to get her out of there gracefully than an illness in the family?
Below the information on the counter-rally and contact data.
Move America Forward will be conducting the "You Don't Speak for Me, Cindy" caravan beginning next week. It will feature military family members who have loved ones serving in the war against terrorism in Iraq or Afghanistan. The delegation will be led by Deborah Johns of Marine Moms. (Her son has served in Operation Iraqi Freedom).
Main caravan leaves from San Francisco, California on Monday, August 22nd. Other caravans will depart from around the country. If you want to be part of a caravan, email us with your name and location you will depart from and we will include in our caravan coverage so people in your area can depart with you.
Everyone arrives in Crawford, Texas for a giant "We Support Our Troops AND Their Mission" Rally on Saturday, August 27, 2005.
If you have a loved one serving in Iraq or Afghanistan and would like to join the caravan please contact Move America Forward's Robert Dixon: Robert@MoveAmericaForward.org
Finally, below an interesting picture showing Cindy and the company she kept long before this Crawford mess.
We shall see if Cindy comes back.
I think her financiers don't want Cindy face-to-face with good Americans who carry this country on their back.
There's 285 million people in this country. So far there's been about 50,000 holding peace vigils across the land. The rest of us are earning our livings, living lawful happy lives and hey, carrying the country on our backs.
That caravan scheduled for next week has the Cindy backers scared.
