The HammerHead Shark -Hammerheads are efficient predators and feed on bony fishes, other sharks, crustaceans, and especially stingrays that they can find buried in the sand.

Tom Delay-AGAIN.
It’s that bit about eating other sharks.
Looks to me like ole Tom is going to eat Texas shark Prosecutor, Roy Earle.

Angel Fish-Either one Angel to an aquarium or more than 3. Angels are Cichlids and like most Cichlids, if you keep just 2 or 3 in the same aquarium, the strongest one will make the others miserable.

Mayor Bloomberg
Well he’s making New York miserable.
Was the threat really that great or did Bloomie want the camera time?

Great White Shark-"There is a creature alive today who has survived millions of years of evolution without change, without passion, and without logic. It lives to kill. A mindless eating machine, it will attack and devour anything. It is as though God created the devil and gave him jaws

Texas Prosecutor Roy Earle.
Based on that bit about God creating the devil and giving him jaws.

Bottom Feeders-Unfortunately, it's really a bit of an old wive's tale that adding bottom-feeding fish to your aquarium will make the tank cleaner. Although many bottom feeders will eat scraps of food that have been missed by the other fish, they still need to be fed a diet of their own and will contribute as much dirt to the tank as any other fish.

Mary Mapes

CBS’ Dan Rather friend, who says about their forged memos:
“Faxing changes a document in so many ways, large and small, that analyzing a memo that had been faxed — -in some cases not once, but twice — -was virtually impossible. The faxing destroyed the subtle arcs and lines in the letters. The characters bled into each other. The details of how the typed characters failed to line up perfectly inside each word were lost.”

Is this woman an idiot or what?

Angler Fish-The Angler Fish lives more than a mile deep in ocean water. On her forehead the female has a "fishing rod" tipped with an lighted "artificial worm" which she dangles over her mouth to attract her next meal.

Nobel peace prize committee
That committee’s criteria for promoting peace is to kiss a dictator’s ass.
Forgive me the language. I’m done now.

Minnow-. External features include: scaleless head, toothless jaws, lack of adipose fin, lack of appendages at the base of the pelvic fins, and a single, soft dorsal fin in native species that has less than 10 rays.

Democrats in House
First they voted en masse in the House of Representatives to block the way to building more oil refineries. Dumb, dumb, dumber, stuck on stupid.

The American people do not agree with this at all.

THEN, can you believe they all shouted “shame, shame, shame,” while the vote was being taken. Can you imagine Republicans doing this?

A bunch of stuck on stupid minnows.

The Week Just Passed: Notes of important events from the week prior as Grandmother has determined, not the Old Media. With, as expected, Grandmother’s input

An Election Ploy the Democrats Haven’t Yet Tried

Viktor Yushchenko , (before and after pic below) the opposition leader and presidential candidate in the Ukraine, has been diagnosed as having been poisoned by dioxin poisoning.

I’ve seen pictures of the man and his face has so been disfigured by SOMETHING. He was once very handsome but now his face is pockmarked and lumpy. For quite a while there’s been rumors that he was poisoned by the controlling party, and friends of Russia’s Vladimar Putin. The Ukraine’s controlling party denies such a thing and asserts that Yushchenko ate some bad Sushi.

My first thought, thank God the Democrats didn’t learn this ploy or they’d not only have been writing lying books and movies, but would have happily provided Bush all the Sushi he would want.

Daschle’s Replacement Comes on the National Scene

I watched Harry Reid on his first appearance on Meet the Press after being name Senate Minority Leader. And I heard this dull, boring and unimaginative man malign Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, saying that his opinions were not well-written. As if, ahem, Reid pored over Supreme Court opinions for hours before issuing this critique.

It’s a shot over the bow is what it is; a warning that the Democrats, who won the last election so handily don’t you know and have a popular mandate to continue blocking the President’s judicial appointments, intend to continue the fight no mind the absence of former Democrat Senate Minority leader. What a lackluster humorless twit this man is.

“We doubt this was a slip of the tongue. By attacking Mr. Thomas personally and suggesting he's not too bright, Mr. Reid was signaling to President Bush that if he promotes Mr. Thomas to Chief Justice the fight will be mean and bloody and not limited to Constitutional issues. Democrats will try to destroy the Justice personally, much as they did the first time around…”

Most Under-Reported Story of the Week

Again, a story about Israel’s IDF forces aiding a Palestinian child is ignored by The Old Media. But we’re sure such actions will be lauded by the UN.

IDF engineering, munitions and medical teams in coordination with the Civil Administration, assisted in the rescuing and treatment of a Palestinian child injured in Dir Dabuan east of Ramallah. IDF forces came to the aid of the child following a Palestinian request to the DCO in Ramallah.

The child's hand became caught in an olive oil manufacturing machine.

The IDF forces freed the child, gave him medical treatment at the scene, and evacuated him to an Israeli hospital in moderate condition.

Someone Tell the Dems They Can Stop the Silly Spin

On a recent appearance on CNN, Democratic spinner, Doug Hadaway was asked is the very honest Kofi Annan, Secretary General should resign what with he and his sons stealing billions of dollars from the Iraqi people in the Oil for Food scandal.

Is Hadaway outraged by such a thing? Of course not! Hadaway said that, get this, BUSH should resign because of all the controversies over Haliburton.

What on earth gets into these people that they would go on national TV, right after an election in which Bush won with no dispute, and suggest the President just elected by the American people should resign over Haliburton of all things? Hadaway obviously had the Dem talking points. Who wrote such a thing to think that there is even any kind of remote connection between Haliburton and the UN Oil for Food scandal?

It gets so old.

Watch to Hit the Radar This Coming Week

Mary Berry Will Be Taken Out by Federal Marshalls

There’s been hints in abundance that Mary Berry, chairperson of the Commission on Civil Rights, a silly Clinton invention of a do-nothing group at any rate, will have to be dragged out of her office perhaps at gunpoint.l

Not that this silly Commission ever did anything anyway but parrot Democratic talking points. Their last big claim to fame was the Commission’s assertion that Blacks were denied voting rights by armed state troopers during the Florida Election of 2004.

Berry’s term as Chairperson of this Commission is over but she says not and she says she’s not leaving. Well how do you get rid of someone who is legally done but refuses to go? I await the sight bite of the federal marshals pulling this woman out of her chairperson chair. Maybe she can get Mark Garagos as her lawyer, an orange jump suit, handcuffs and Voila! Susan McDougal redux.

For an excellent article on the Civil Rights Commission, National Review does a fine job.

And below, a snippet from Linda Chavez, former head of the Civil Rights Commission:

In 1997, a Government Accountability Office report noted that management is in disarray, projects are poorly managed and take years to complete, spending data isn't maintained by office, program, or function and the agency's policies and procedures are unclear. GAO couldn't even verify project spending because of the commission's indecipherable record keeping.

The Office of Personnel Management conducted two reviews of the commission in the 1990s. Yet despite evidence of pervasive management problems, the civil-rights commission failed to implement five of six substantive OPM recommendations.

Now Here’s a Non-Partisan Study

Henry Waxman, also known as “nostrils” commissioned a study on the effectiveness of abstinence for pregnancy prevention.

Now I might be a bit dumb, but by me, abstinence works EVERY time.

Not that Waxman’s campaign coffers haven’t been filled to the brim by Planned Parenthood, that group that loves to do abortions and can’t risk our children being taught such heresy as abstinence.

Henry Waxman has a 100 percent rating from Planned Parenthood, and the National Organization of Women for his steadfast support of abortion on demand. Which organizations would be in sad shape if the California schools continue to teach abstinence and cut down on their abortion profits.

Waxman’s report, by the way, found abstinence to be “lacking in effectiveness” in preventing pregnancy.

Heaven forbid that the politicians should consider what’s best for our children as opposed to what’s best for their re-election efforts.
