It should be noted that there were two kinds of Feedayeen under Saddam. A group of thugs and criminals that were loyal to Saddam for the joy of terrorizing and killing fellow citizens, and this group of recruited ARAB feedayeen which, according to this document, were to be given the same pay and benefits as the ordinary Iraqi army.
The Arab Feedayeen, it must be emphasized, were FOREIGN Arabs recruited to aid in suicide bombings, likely against American interests.
Not that the lovely Saddam was involved in terroristm or anything.
