Utah Mall Shooter a Bosnian Refugee
I don't know what was going on in the head of young Sulejman Talovic. He donned the standard black trenchcoat young murderers like to wear when shooting innocent people, loaded himself up with ammunition and a handy gun, then took off for the local mall.

Police Tuesday identified the gunman accused in Monday night's Trolley Square shooting as Sulejman Talovic, an 18-year-old Bosnian refugee who lived in Salt Lake City.
Salt Lake City Police Chief Chris Burbank said Talovic drove his car to the mall, parked in the west parking terrace and encountered two people who he shot before entering the mall.
There, he encountered a female who also was shot right away, then went into a gift shop where there were five people, all of whom the young man shot. Moving through the mall, the gunman tried to shoot others, Burbank said. The chief said he could not say now how many shots were involved in the entire episode.
Six people were dead by the time an off-cuty cop dining in the mall stopped this fellow with a bullet until other on-duty cops finished Sulejman Talovic off.
The fact that Sulejman Talovic is a Muslim is a puzzlement. For we've had in this country, flying low beneath the radar but nonetheless a fact, a few violent episodes that can be traced directly to Islamofacism. Law authorities, perhaps as commanded by higher ups, have refused as of yet to label these actions as terrorism.

Just-graduated student named Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar, 22, and an Iranian immigrant, drove a sport utility vehicle into a crowded pedestrian zone at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He struck nine people.
Eyewitnesses told the Seattle News that Mr. Haq announced, "I'm a Muslim American; I'm angry at Israel," and then began shooting. He killed one woman and wounded five others.
The suspect, Egyptian-born Hesham Mohamed Ali Hadayet, left two people dead and five injured at the El Al airlines ticket counter at Los Angeles International Airport before being fatally shot by a security guard.
One of the core methodologies used by Islamofacists is the training of the young into a culture of hatred, anger and resentment. There are reasons why young children are schooled and brainwashed into hating Israel and the West. Mostly hate-teching madarasses and such are set up in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to deflect the poor population's attention away from their own sad situation and the wealth of those who control the Arab oil in their country. Which is usually NOT Israel or the West but we don't want the poor and unemployed to know this. Best to keep them distracted and fed on the fuels of hatred. Hatred detracts from the ugly truth.
Thus these scattershot and unusual terrorist activities as linked above, do not happen all that often in this country but they DO happen. One can find a hand full of oddball nuts almost anywhere if you look hard enough. The hapless "shoe bomber", Richard Reid, was an American who was seduced by dreams of blowing up an airplane for Al Queda and hey, Al Queda used this fellow quickly enough because why not? In a country of almost 300 million people, there are bound to be more than a few losers who will up and join the enemy and America also has a large Muslim population.
Those fellows blowing themselves up in Israel and right now, in Iraq, hey, they're not normal people. Despite what the Islamofacists would have us believe, there aren't a whole bunch of Muslims out and about all anxious to blow themselves up, even if they take a few infidels with them. Usually the Islamofacists recruit their own brand of nuts and in many cases, suicide bombers get a deal that will provide for their family. The lovely Saddam regularly paid the families of Israeli suicide bombers a cool $25K a pop.
So we have nuts in America and given enough time and should we take our eyes away from behind the eight-ball, this country too could become a haven for the Muslim nuts who want to kill us. Hey we've already got plenty of nuts here and those shooters with their black trenchcoats are part of America's nut contingency.
So Sulejman Talovic was either a normal nut in a trenchcoat who just wanted to randomly kill people a la Columbine, or he is a nut Islamofacist who wants to kill infidels.
We need to cast a shrewd eye at these sorts of things. It's bad enough we've got these kinds of crazies but thank goodness they don't live very long. But for sure we want to be vigilant should a bunch of Islamofacist crazies get it into their head to unite and terrorize the country. It really wouldn't take but one terrorist act in every state and this country might collapse under the weight of the hysteria.
It's why Terrorism is effective.

Airplane Hijackers Beat Up As Passengers Storm the Cockpit
This particular hijacker's name was Mohamed Ahmed . He was from Mauritania, a country I've heard of but have no idea where it is, except I think it's somewhere near Spain.
There wasn't a lot of Lamestream coverage of this airplane hijacking which took place late last week. Once again we have a Muslim doing something we could call terrorism if we put our minds to it. This hijacker wanted the plane to take him to France but Spanish authorities and a bunch of airplane passengers determined to live, foiled this man's plan.
This hijacking took place the first day of the Spanish trials for the perpetrators of the 2004 Madrid train bombings. Whether there is a connection is still unknown.
What is known, this hijacker was hijacked by his co-passengers. His name was Mohamed Ahmed. Or did I mention that?

As armed police surrounded the Boeing 737 on the runway, five passengers and the co-pilot burst into the cockpit and knocked the hijacker to the ground before beating him up, a police spokesman said.
"When we landed at Las Palmas ... we entered (the cockpit) and hit him and knocked him down," one passenger told television station CNN+.
Couple Who Caged Foster Children Given Two Years
I don't know what to make of Michael and Sharon Gravelle, especially after watching Michael Gravelle's heartfelt plea to court onlookers that he not be regarded as some sort of sadist.
I covered the story of these caged children on this Blog HERE. I re-read this linked post about this couple and am sticking to my allegation in this post.
For Michael and Sharon Gravelle were charged with caring for over ten children and SOMEBODY surely checked this couple out and approved them as foster parents. I'm also ready to accept that this couple were likly in it for the money as the state does provide funds for foster parents. There are plenty of kind Americans who take in disabled kids and give them a decent and loving home. Such kind Americans rarely take in these disabled children by the dozen and I doubt that they are ever kept in cages.
Yet Michael Gravelle pled to the court and television audience that he is NOT a bad person, that he chose a way to protect these severely disabled children to keep them from harm in the best way he could. All the while I am remembering a couple from my childhood. This couple had TWO disabled children although I don't know whether both of these children were biological children of the couple who lived in the apartment below mine, I think they were.
I was but a mere eight years old but I distinctly remember these children were kept in cages, yes they were.
Now this was almost fifty years ago but the image of those retarded toddlers sitting in cages remains clear in my memory. These were biological children of those keeping them in cages and I must wonder if a human can be so mentally deficient that the only way to protect them IS to keep them in some sort of confinement. The sight offends our sensibilities, yes it does and yes it should. But sometimes, as I wonder, is it the only PRACTICAL way to keep them safe?

An Ohio couple convicted of endangering their 11 adopted special-needs children by confining them in cages were sentenced to two years in prison Thursday. Sharon and Michael Gravelle said they made the children sleep in wire-and-wood cages to keep them safe, particularly a child who wanted to jump out of a window on the second floor of their home.
Sharon Gravelle said in a 26-minute statement while crying, "Would you prefer that we let them jump? Either way, we'd be here. The difference is they're still alive."
All that now stated, I stick to my assertion as stated in my first Blog post about this case that someone paid by the government DIDN'T do their damn job. How on earth did this couple end up with eleven severely retarded children? Did any of the social workers check out the premises? Were the cages known to the social workers and they approved?
I strongly feel that the Gravelles are scapegoats in this case, that the caging of the retarded, even the children, is more common than we know.
Supreme Court Justice's Daughter Charged With Drunk Driving
First, Supreme Court Justice couldn't deny this woman as daughter if he tried. She looks just like him!

WHEATON, Ill. (AP) -- U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia's daughter was arrested this week and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and child endangerment, officials said Wednesday.
Ann S. Banaszewski, 45, of Wheaton, was arrested Monday evening while driving away from a fast-food restaurant in the suburb 20 miles west of Chicago, police said. Three children were inside Banaszewski's van when someone called police to report a suspected intoxicated driver, said Deputy Chief Tom Meloni.
And so it seems that Ann has a drinking problem and that she was driving around drunk with three children in the vehicle with her drunken self. Thus she's also charged with child endangerment.
Anna Nicole's Will and Doctor "Friend"
Anna Nicole's death continues to bring surprises and cast attention on a whole bunch of people who would rather not have attention.
We begin with Smith's will, which specifically EXCLUDES future children.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Anna Nicole Smith said in a 2001 will that her estate should be given to her longtime companion to hold in trust for her son, who has died, according to a copy released Friday.
The document said Howard K. Stern should hold the former Playboy playmate's estate should be held in trust for her son, Daniel, who died last year, three days after Smith gave birth to a daughter.
"I have intentionally omitted to provide for my spouse and other heirs, including future spouses and children and other descendants now living and those hereafter born or adopted," Smith said in the will.
I have watched a few legal-beagles comment on the words in this will and some say it is a normal thing while others say they've never seen such a thing. Smith's infamous "Rasputin"-Howard K. Stern, was named executor of her will and I must comment right now that if Stern was planning on Smith getting pregnant in the near future from when the will was written, surely he wouldn't have excluded a future child that he claims is his, right?
Other legal experts say that in general, when people get re-married or have more children, they re-write their wills so the words specifically stipulating those left out of a current document are inserted to avoid any confusion.
Well Anna didn't re-write her will after the birth of her daughter, so now what?

A lawyer for the doctor who prescribed drugs to Anna Nicole Smith in the late stages of her pregnancy says giving methadone to Smith was "medically sound and appropriate."
The lawyer for Dr. Sandeep Kapoor responded to allegations of medical misconduct today in a statement to TMZ, saying, in part, "Medical research and protocols confirm that methadone is approved for use by pregnant patients."
It turns out that some doctor, a young fellow who appeared in various pics to be way more chummy with Anna Nicole than a doctor should be with a patient, actually prescribed methadone for her while she was pregnant.
Various investigators have questioned this guy who finally brought forth a defense that giving methadone to pregnant women was accepted medical protocol.
Well hey, I suppose if a pregnant woman was so deeply addicted to heroin that methadone would be a better alternative than leaving her and her unborn baby subject to the ravages of heroin, than methadone is a better choice. This was not the case with Anna Nicole Smith. She was fawned and catered to by a coterie of sycophants and hangers-on and I'm betting this fine Dr. Kapoor was just another fool ready to violate principles to indulge the wealthy and beautiful.
Phil Spector Trial to be Televised

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A judge said on Friday that he would allow full television coverage of rock producer Phil Spector's murder trial, despite an aversion to cameras in Los Angeles courts since O.J. Simpson's controversial 1995 acquittal.
Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler said it was time to put aside the "fear of cameras in the courtroom" since the Simpson trial made an unwilling celebrity of his colleague and friend, Judge Lance Ito.
Hmmmm. Offhand I'd suggest that Judge Paul Fidler WANTS the cameras to gaze upon him because Phil Spector is a character and if ever TV cameras were going to outlawed for the potential theatrics of it all, it would be the trial of Spector.
Phil Spector murdered a B actress in February of 2003. Spector claims the actress committed suicide. In Spector's home? How many people kill themselves in someone else's home?
Which is not to say I disapprove of a televised Spector trial. I'll be watching the show with all the eagerness of a True Crime Sleuth.
