There are ten contenders left as of this writing on 8/5/16 on Big Brother Season 18, a season with a lot of twists, including bringing back four former contenders to compete again.
Along with former contenders, at least two were related to former contenders, including Corey who is brother with Cody and now-evicted Tiffany, sister of former crybaby Vanessa.
This past week the contender I dislike the most finally got the boot and this causes me to wonder.
First, the remaining contenders include bearded Paul, a guy quite possible to win this thing. This past week the show producers featured a vignette from Paul's family, including his mother, father, siblings and friends. Now why do this unless there's a real possibility that bearded Paul will be with us for a while?
Which is fine with me in that bearded Paul is a fabulous Big Brother contender and keeps the game interested.
Victor returned from a prior eviction via a new twist this season that had the first five Big Brother evictees battling to return to the house. Victor is not likely to win this but for now he is laying low and that's a good plan.
Paulie is a good player and I suspect that soon there will be a concerted effort to get him out. Paulie was put on the block by Head of Household winner bearded Paul as a pawn up against Bridgette.
Speaking of Bridgette, she was put on the block after her BB house BFF Frank was evicted. By herself Bridgette is harmful to no one.
Michelle remains and I got a pic of her crying because she cries all the time. Michelle will be easy to throw out
comes her time.Natalie and Zakiyah are not impressive players and in due course they will be on the jury.
James is a good player and he could be, at the least, one of the top three.
Finally, Nicole could make it to the end but she'll have to do a lot of flirting and make a lot of those strong guys think she loves them.
Da'Vonne got the boot last week and it was kind of a surprise. Bridgette had been put up along with Paulie. Paulie did win the power of veto, which he logically used on himself. Bearded Paul put Da'Vonne up in Paulie's place and Da'Vonne was evicted by a vote of 7 to 2.
I did not like Da'Vonne and at times I wonder what criteria contenders use to decide who to evict.
Da'Vonne is not likeable, she's loud and honestly I don't think she ever one a single contest of any kind. All she does is talk loud, say garish prayers and speak ill of anyone not around.
And she lied like a rug.
So Da'Vonne is the first member of the Big Brother 18 jury.
For now I stand by my prediction that bearded Paul is most likely to win this thing.
