Here's some Reminise for the older amongst us.
Remember those old black and white TV shows? We've got a montage of them.
Also, an interesting exchange between Oliver North and then Senator Al Gore about terrorism.

Here's a Reminisce post chock full of old-fashioned sayings, what they mean, how they came about.
Plus some of my own.

We were city kids but the promise of endless ripe tomatoes convinced us.
There was the tractor driven up a tree, a log raft that ran over my brother, the bulls that kept getting loose.
Oh, and I did I mention the house burned down four times?
It's all true, read it here.
Taking on the Farm
Does anyone remember the DC Sniper?
Well this missive was written by me during the height of that terrifying time.
It's a fun retrospective in that I was very, very wrong in my speculation on the identy of the DC sniper. But to read the account written as it was happening and affecting me very personally, well someday Kaitlyn will read my accounts in this very same manner.
But hey, I was right about the Merryland Governor's race!

I've been told The Wise I greatly resembles the lead character in the Broadway show "Hairspray".
Which is not necessarily meant as a compliment but we won't go there.
When a group of co-workers attended a showing of Hairspray, they returned to rave about my resemblance to one of the lead characters.
Yet "Hairspray" by Baltimorian Barry Levinson was a real tale about a real time. A little Baltimore amusement park was the nexus of the era.
So Grandmother wrote the story about Gwynn Oak Park and a few school mates who weren't allowed inside.
The whole story is about waaaay more than my resemblance to the Hairspray character.
For Grandmother really lived it.

The bag lay on the sidewalk, unclaimed, there for the taking.
A sisterly debate ensued. "Take it?" "No."
It's a reminisce of a trip to the New York theater, the "new" city after the 9/11 attacks.
"The Bag" illustrates how much that city has changed.
The Bag
It's a reminisce but it's based on one of those ubiquitous missives that make rounds across the vast Internet.
Still I could not delete it from my mind as there was so much truth to it.
So I dolled it up and added some thoughts of my own.
And know that most, if not all of yon Blog readers, will remember the carefree days of bicycling without helmets and the joy of eating lead-filled paint.
We'd all, I'd argue, never allow our children to do such things but ahh, see if you don't look back fondly on those naive days of yore.
The winter session of the Delaware Writers Class is over. But it wasn't without incident. Including a Delaware author with a most unusual way of handling his affairs. The man needs to be punished.
The Delaware Writing Class
She's 67, she's got a new book, she's still an untalented slut and STILL she does not admit it's wrong to be yukking it up with an enemy then killing our soldiers.
I'm sick of Jane Fonda and in this Reminisce I document for Kaitlyn Mae why her Grandmother despises this woman so.

Here's a Reminisce and if you own any Chrysler car at all you should check it out.
For Chrysler is hiding something from you about your car and its paint.
The Chrysler Paint Problem
It’s all true and it’s only documented on this Blog.

Here's a REMINISCE about revenge.
Does anyone out there remember Western Electric?
Does anyone out there know what Icky Pick is?
Check out how this Grandmother once got a well-deserved revenge.
And how sweet it was.
