Except few showed up, Conyers showboated and even WAPO's Dana Milbank made fun of this pathetic show.
In this editorial, widely copied across the Blogosphere, Grandmother takes on Conyers' letter to the Washington Post editor as he complains about Milbank's article.

There are new information items available as regards the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba. This based on tidbits I gleaned on the Greta Sustern show on Tuesday, June 21.
On that date, Natalee's Mom and Greta went to Joran's Van Der Sloot's house. To everyone's surprise, Joran's father, Paulus Van Der Sloot, invited Greta and Natalee's Mom in. No cameras allowed.
One tidbit I did not know was that Joran's father picked up his son from McDonald's the night Natalee disappeared at 11:00 pm. So far as Paulus knew, Joran was in his room. Later he discovered that his son has snuck out of the house. Joran was back in the house by the morning so Paulus Van Der Sloot has no idea how long his son was out or when he returned.
This is interesting because if Joran was picked up by his father than he evidently does not have access to a car. Assuming he didn't run off with the family car, Joran had to get someone to pick him up after his father brought him home. In addition, Joran had to get someone to bring him back home after his 1:00 am foray to Carlos and Charlies where he allegedly took off with Natalee.
Greta also learned that the five hour interrogation of Paulus Van Der Sloot this past weekend was because the Aruban investigators intercepted a phone call to Joran when he warned his son to "stop talking".
Greta said Paulus explained this instruction as being a simple warning to his son who was bragging in a fashion over his involvement in Natalee's disappearance.
One very interesting tidbit was a confrontation between both mothers-Natalee's Mom and Joran's Mom.
Natalee's Mom had already asserted that during her one meeting with Joran he pounded his chest and asked her what she wanted him to do when she told him she wanted to know where her daughter was. She described him as one of the most arrogant teens she'd ever meant.
"Joran's not arrogant," his mother told Natalee's Mom. "He's CONFIDENT"-emphasis mine.
A profile of Joran Van Der Sloot is beginning to emerge here. A not so nice profile of a teenager run amok, aided and abetted by his parents. Parents who have, you understand, a son who comes and goes in mid of night unbeknownst by them. A son who gambles and drinks in casinos even though he's underage. An arrogant son who is defended by his mother as being merely "confident". A son said to have "anger management issues".
Dick Durbin "Apologizes"
Frankly the apology means nothing because his original comment was carefully crafted and deliberately stated. He had every intention of releasing his statement comparing conditions at Gitmo to the Nazis and Russia's Gulags.
It was no accident is what I'm saying here.
I'll go one step further and say that Durbin knew he was going to have to apologize. It was all part of the plan.
Wonder how much money Soros gave him for his traitorous behavior.
Update on Lionel Tate Story
Lionel Tate is the nasty kid who killed a little girl as they pretended to be wrestlers. Killed her. He was 13; she was 6.

Tate was released from prison last year and has since violated his parole two times. He is alleged to have assaulted a 12 year old boy and robbed a pizza deliverer.
Seems the stories they are a changing. The kid he assaulted is changing his story. Although investigators are dubious about this change in the description of events. I'm reading between the lines that the kid is scared of Lionel and might be under duress to change his story that Tate assaulted him.
Lionel Tate is one dangerous character. He's killed before, at age 13. He's 18 now and since his release he's committed two violent crimes. As alleged, of course. He needs to be taken off the street before another kid dies by Lionel's murderous hands.
