Quote of the Day

"I would be more interested in what the Democrats had to say about high gas prices if these were not the same people who refused to let us drill for oil in Alaska, imposed massive restrictions on building new refineries, and who shut down the development of nuclear power in this country decades ago."
- Columnist Ann Coulter

A group of child psychologists posed this question to children 4 to 8 years old, "What does love mean?"

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis. too. That's love."
- Rebecca, age 8
"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth."

My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss"

When Fools Defend Themselves

Attorneys have a saying: "One who defends himself has a fool for a client".

This wise tidbit is used mostly as a warning to actual lawyers who decide to defend themselves. Get an idiot on trial defending his or her self and you've got an even bigger fool for a client.

Zacarias Moussaoui defended himself and he was a total clown. Now we have infamous D.C. sniper, John Allen Muhammad, defending himself and this fool pulls unbelievable defenses right out of the air.

I remember the era of the D.C. sniper very well, having been made to look like a fool myself because of these two scum of society. I was managing a shopping center in Merryland's Prince Georges county at the time, a prime hangout of this gun-toting Frick and Frack. As reports of more killings hysterically filled the airways, I finally had to attend to the shopping center business that I had avoided for so long.

"Walk in a zig-zag fashion," law enforcement warned.

And so as I ran across the parking lot from my vehicle to the shopping center's stores from which I simply had to collect rent and tend to tenant concerns, I zigged then I zagged, feeling incredibly silly while doing so but knowing that there was no rhyme or reason to whoever was willy-nilly shooting people save the victims being a perfect target.

People all across the Virginia/D.C./Merryland area were pumping their gas while crouching behind their cars and there were plenty of zig-zaggers such as myself.

I remember D.C. Chief Moose and the endless pleas to be on the lookout for a "white van". Well Mohammed and his young charge were driving an old Chevrolet Caprice and had, sadly but not without its irony, been chased out of downtown Baltimore by a Baltimore cop for loitering. I guess the Baltimore police were busy looking for that white van.

Chief Moose held regular press conferences during which he said nothing and even as he said nothing he managed to make a verbal mish-mash of it. And that white van thing really threw the investigation off.

Muhammed and Malvo killed six people in Merryland but take note yon readers, Muhammed has already been given the death penalty in Virginia for only one killing there. In fact, Mohammed is only being tried in Merryland as a backup should the Virginia conviction be overturned. The bigger scoop here is that Muhammad and Malvo were tried in Virginia because the state of Merryland is notoriously, well the word liberal comes to mind.

In fact, the Merryland prosecutor is not even going after the death penalty for the six deaths in that state. SIX deaths, cold-blooded and pre-meditated and still that weinie state governed by out-of-control liberals won't go after the death penalty. This is why those two fine gentlemen were tried in Virginia rather than either D.C. or Merryland. Federal investigators made this happen. They knew that D.C. and Merryland would be too timid to go after the death penalty.

If ever a criminal deserved the death penalty it would be John Allen Muhammad. Or else there should simply not even be a death penalty. Period.

DC Snipers

Sccording to CNN.com, Muhammad's defense included:
He alleged prosecutors used faked evidence ranging from DNA and ballistic tests to maps on his laptop computer that marked shooting scenes with skull-and-crossbones icons.

"They are just nothing but hackers. They just happen to work for the FBI or the CIA," Muhammad said of investigators who examined the computer.

The So-Called "Bikini Murder"

There's a lot they're not telling about Tiffany Souers. There's also a lot they are telling.

It is known that Tiffany Souers-a 20-year-old student at Clemson University-was strangled with a bikini top. It is not known whether Tiffany was sexually assaulted.

Shortly after the story broke, police released a very blurry sketch of a man wearing a kerchief over his face. The man was accessing an ATM machine using Tiffany's debit card. It is known that the man could not get to Tiffany's bank account.

At first, as these sorts of killings often are, it was believed that Tiffany might have been assaulted by someone she knew. There was no sign of forced entry. As of this writing, it's speculated that her killer might well have removed the screen from Tiffany's ground-floor apartment and could have been waiting for her. Also, even with that widely publicized ATM photo, no one professes to know the man in the picture.

The murder of Tiffany Souers is still an ongoing investigation and all of Clemson University is scared and shocked.

From Fox21.com:
A friend of Tiffany's told us that the last time many people saw her alive was right here in downtown Clemson on Thursday night. Now as word begins to spread of her murder, so does the fear.

Heinous Woman and Man Videotape Their Torture and Murder

Richard Davis is 41 years of age and a walking crime looking for a place to happen. He's been in and out of jail, recently released after serving 18 years inside.

Dena Riley is 39 years old and an acquaintance of Davis.

Marsha Spicer's body was found in a shallow grave. A videotape of her torture and murder was found in this couple’s apartment.

There had been endless Fox News Alert as this very nice pair roamed the country. Sadly, somewhere along the way, the pair kidnapped a child from Davis' cousin. Reports are that the child was sexually assaulted.

This fine pair has finally been captured but investigators hint that they may be involved in the disappearance of other people.

Folks, it just doesn't get any more disgusting than these two.

From the AP:
Davis and Riley are charged in the death of 41-year-old Marsha Spicer, whose body was found May 15 in a shallow grave. Police say the victim is
seen being beaten, sexually assaulted and choked on a videotape found at the apartment Davis and Riley shared in Independence.

Wife Tears Off Husband's Testicles

Only the news reports state that "two parts of his genitalia" were torn off by his evidently very angry wife. We're guessing testicles here.

To quote Howard himself:
"I mean she just grabbed me all down there and yanking and yanking and tearing me up with those fingernails."

According to the story, Howard and his wife had had a rocky marriage to the point of once separating and heading toward divorce. Maybe now Howard will find a woman with short fingernails.

From Blogcritics.org:
The 52-year-old (area) man, who we are identifying only by his first name of Howard, arrived home late Wednesday, hours after his wife allegedly tore off two parts of his genitalia with her bare hands. Surgeons at Einstein successfully managed to repair the damage.

It's the End of the Line for Lionel Tate

First covered on this blog HERE, Lionel Tate was 12 years old when he killed 6 year old Tiffany. They were supposed to be playing at "wrestling". At the time there was an uproar over Lionel's "conviction" for which there was none.

Lionel Tate and Tiffany

Lionel is now 18 years old and guess what? He's been in trouble with the law repeatedly since he got off with one free murder. The latest is the robbery of a pizza delivery guy by knife point. Does anyone doubt that the lovely Lionel would hesitate to kill for a pizza?

So it seems that authorities got wise to Lionel. Lionel's mother, by the way, is a cop and the very definition of an enabler.

Folks, some people are just born with a predilection to crime. If ever there was a definition of just such a born criminal, it would be Lionel Tate. I, for one, am relieved that he's now off the streets for 30 years.

From Bradenton.com:
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Lionel Tate, the teenager who got a second chance after he was released from custody for beating and stomping a 6-year-old girl to death, was sent back to prison with a 30-year sentence Thursday for gun possession.

The Baltimore City Police Story
Covered on this blog HERE, the story of Llara Brook and Josh Kelley is a bizarre one.

Seems the two got lost in Baltimore after exiting a ballgame at Oriole park. An easy thing to do as I detailed in my post linked above. They spotted a police car and waved it down.

Brook and Kelley got arrested and spent 8 hours in jail. Their car, towed away to a Baltimore impoundment lot, was broken into and robbed of valuable items.

There is nothing about this story that makes any sense.

Two things new here. Baltimore's WBAL is looking into the incident, below.
From WBAL.com:
Baltimore City police said they are looking into the incident.

The story linked above re-details the story of Llara Brook and Josh Kelley but if WBAL performs like the Lamestream media normally does, this might be the end of the tale.

Another thing, a comment was placed on my blog post, quoted below, verifying the story as told by Brook and Kelley.
I happen to know both Llara Brook and Josh Kelley (correct spelling of his last name) and they are both fine young adults. It's so like Josh to trust that a police vehicle would be GOOD NEWS and for the two of them to think the police were there to help. They were truly shocked to find themselves arrested when they spotted a police car and pulled over to ask for directions. The police officer said they ran a stop sign and although Josh was sure he had come to a complete stop twice at the stop sigh - once behind a van and then when the van pulled out, but was willing to accept a ticket and not make a big deal out of it - they really just wanted to get home. The next day was Mother's Day and they were due at a family get-together. What they got was taken to jail, their car impounded and left unlocked so everything that could be taken from it was taken. Instead of the family picnic they had to call Llara's parents to come and get them (after 8 1/2 hours in jail)and return them to Baltimore on Monday to get their car back. Besides the lost time, they are out the money for the towing, impound and lost property they also lost a day's pay.

I intend to keep after the Baltimore police over this incident but was waiting first for the local media to do their job. If this story is true, and I think it is, the Baltimore police have some 'splaining to do.

Blogger Death Threats from Reuters

Reuters is just such a Lamestream media outlet that hates Bloggers. One of my own favorite blogs-Little Green Footballs-has been threatened with death by one fine Reuters’ employee.

From Ynetnews.com:
Reuters employee issues 'Zionist pig' death threat
Worker suspended after telling American blogger: 'I look forward to day when you pigs get your throats cut'

Indeed, LGF has been tracking the hits on its site from Reuters and has detected a pattern. For even though the nice employee who fervently believes in free speech unto the point of murder, was allegedly suspended, the Reuters’ hits continue on the LGF blog.

Little Green Footballs is keeping readers updated on events as they transpire.

Stupid Criminal Alert

You can’t make it up folks. This fellow, boom, walks out of the police station while waiting for his friend to be processed, with an entire gumball machine!

Yon wise readers, how much money can there possibly be in a gumball machine? How stupid does one have to be to steal a gumball machine from a police station?

From Earthlink.net:
ROTTERDAM, N.Y. - While waiting for his friend to be processed on a drunken driving charge Friday morning at the Rotterdam Police Department, 21-year-old Adam Jewett picked up the gumball machine in the lobby and walked out the door with it, authorities say.

Jewett was riding in Zachary Peek's vehicle when it was stopped by an officer about 3 a.m. in Rotterdam, police said. A dispatcher watching the surveillance system saw Jewett carry away the gumball machine. He told the officer processing Peek on the driving while intoxicated charge. Patrolman Stephen Dixon found Jewett in the parking lot with the gumball machine.

Saudis Hitch Ride on School Bus?

Here’s a story that’s been percolating across the Blogosphere but as of yet, little info from the Lamestream.

Seems two Saudi men just, voila, climbed aboard a Florida school bus.

It’s unclear just why the school bus driver allowed them on the bus but the driver was new and further, I’m supposing there was no way for the driver to ask them to leave. The bus driver did immediately phone ahead to the bus company supervisors and law enforcement was at the school to greet these fine gentlemen when the bus arrived at the school.

From TBO.com:
TAMPA - Two Saudi men were arrested Friday after they boarded a school bus and rode to Wharton High School in New Tampa.

The poor Saudi men got a bit confused what with this new culture and everything, and thought the school bus was public transportation.

Yeah, right.

Over the past weeks this story is reported with few updates available. Are we just to forget this? Two Saudi men hop onto a school bus and hey, it’s a mistake? And somehow I am not comforted by this re-assurance by the infamous terrorist-abetting CAIR:
Ahmed Bedier, Tampa director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations said the men likely meant no harm and that because "they were from Saudi Arabia, that escalated the situation."

May bloggers are demanding answers on this incident but so far the authorities are mum about it all.

Hey, it’s only our children going to school. Why on earth should we be concerned if some terrorists hitch a ride?

I think this was a “dry-run” for a terrorist attack. I will never buy that those men, who had already been in the U.S. for six months at the time of the incident, got confused and thought a school bus was public transportation. I think it was a test to see if they could get away with it.

It appears they have.

”Runaway Bride” Gets Dumped

Jennifer Wilbanks got the heave-ho recently from her groom, John Mason. Covered
HERE on this blog, Wilbanks caused a national stir when she disappeared shortly before her wedding causing the entire country alarm and her fiancé to be under suspicion. Then Wilbanks continues the charade by pretending she was abducted and sexually assaulted.

Runaway bride and former fiance

The Nancy Pelosi lookalike is a total kook and with a smirk we are glad that her fiancé finally got a clue.

From Alt.True.Crime:
05/19/06 - ATLANTA, GA) - The runaway bride who generated a media storm with her phony tale of abduction and the fiance who took her back have
broken up for good, the man's friends and family told People Magazine.
