TIDBITS
NEW PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION

The following has been attributed to State Representative Mitchell Aye from GA. This guy should run for President one day...

"We the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional, and other Liberal bed-wetters.

We hold these truths to be self evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim they require a Bill of NON-Rights."

  • ARTICLE I:
You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but No one is guaranteeing anything.

  • ARTICLE II:
You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is Based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc.; But the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be.

  • ARTICLE III:
You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful, do not expect the tool Manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

  • ARTICLE IV:
You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the Creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes. (This one is my pet peeve...get an education and go to work .. don 't expect everyone else to take care of you!)

  • ARTICLE V:
You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in public health care.

  • ARTICLE VI:
You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.

  • ARTICLE VII:
You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.

  • ARTICLE VIII:
You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful. (AMEN!)

  • ARTICLE IX:
You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to PURSUE happiness, which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

  • ARTICLE X:
This is an English speaking country. We don't care where you are from, English is our language. Learn it or go back to wherever you came from! (lastly....)

  • ARTICLE XI:
You do not have the right to change our country's history or heritage. This country was founded on the belief in God. And yet, you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all; with no fear of persecution. The phrase IN GOD WE TRUST is part of our heritage and history, and if you are uncomfortable with it, TOUGH!!!!

    Lebanon, Hezbollah and Delaware

There are three hundred million Arabs in the Mideast and there are six million Jews. Israel occupies exactly 1% of the total of the Mideast land mass.

Come on, folks. Israel is a threat to no one.

It gets old with these people. And now we have lovely Lebanon, that darling spot in the Mideast which once housed a mixed mishmash of religions that lived side-by-side next to date groves and cedar trees.

Lebanon has a government. Such as it is. Lebanon even had the help of the mighty U.S. when, during its recent and infamous "Cedar Revolution", international attention was paid to the intrusion of the Syrian government into Lebanon affairs. Even the U.N. wrote an angry letter and demanded that Syria get the hell out of Lebanon.

    And then?

Nothing. The Lebanonese did absolutely nothing.

Lebanon does have a 75,000 man army and hey, that's small by U.S. standards. It should be enough for the country to secure its borders and defend itself.

Nothing happens because the PEOPLE do nothing about it. Pay no attention to the boo-hooing Lebanese on the TV with their broken legs and missing children. Manly men move their families where they will be safe and the Lebanese sure had plenty of notice that the IDF was coming.

Sure I hate to see innocent children killed. I despise any culture that would strap suicide bombs to their own children and that fact alone tells me everything I need to know about these people.

The Lebanese, the whole mishmash of them, allowed a terror group to come into their country and take over parts of their government and police force. It was just easier folks. For the pathetic government they have would have to enact tax laws, actually collect taxes, and government services would have to be provided via the taxes and income of the Lebanese people.

Now let's plop Lebanon down into, oh, say, Delaware U.S.A. Suppose Delaware finally got rid of that Biden clan and instead decided to fill the void with Tookie Williams' gang The Crypts.

Now the Crypts are supported by New York gangs and some gangs from the Left Coast. Delaware might have a token government meeting up in Wilmington but the gangs from NY and LA inveigle their way into the fabric of Delaware life and soon the Crypts are picking up trash, providing police services and running the schools.

CNN comes to interview me and as a Delaware citizen I wax on about The Crypts and how they pick up my trash and just the other night a member of The Crypts came to my rescue when my husband came home drunk and started hitting me.

Besides, it's nice to have New York and California supporting Delaware citizens and what with the introduction of The Crypts into the Delaware government, well it's win-win.

Yes, The Crypts have some problems with Cuba in that they want to take over that country's cigar industry. So Tookie's former gang gets some big bucks from NY and California, bucks from people who want to benefit from reinvigorated Cuba cigar trafficking. As a Delaware citizen I might not much care about Cuban cigars at all but if The Crypts want to hide a missile or two in Sussex county, hey, it doesn't bother me. And if The Crypts go out and lob a few missiles at Cuba, well I will shrug. When CNN returns for a re-interview I will shrug my shoulders and go on about trash pickup and safety on the street.

If Cuba should retaliate to the missiles sent its way by The Crypts now entrenched in Delaware and actually invade Delaware, well I will just summon CNN and show them my injured child and pictures of the child I have that is missing. I'll tell CNN that sure I got the Cuban leaflets dropped from the sky warning me to get out, that Cuba's coming in and is going to bomb. But I had nowhere to go and The Crypts are getting beat so bad by the infiltrating Cuban army that I can't even call them for help.

As farfetched as the above may seem, that's exactly what's happening in Lebanon. In fact, if one were to be honest, the above scenario is pretty much the situation across the entire Mideast. The countries are dominated or have been taken over by thugs, thieves and despots, or an inherited clan of sons of camels such as the Saudis or Syria's gender-challenged Assad.

It's the lackadaisical attitude of the CITIZENS that allows these thugs and thieves to infiltrate towns and cities. The citizens are thrown a few benefits such as weekly trash pickup.

    THEY HAVE NO GOVERNMENTS!

Governments pick up the trash, NOT TERROR GROUPS.

Folks, they don't have a clue. There's an Arab mindset and there's likely several reasons for it.

First, they are historically a nomadic people. Arabs are united more from a common religion than geographical borders. Thus their quasi-terrorist governments pay no attention to arbitrary borders and spread across a region of like-leaning religious sects.

Second, this is a region where there is little industry and entrepreneurship. Where there are entrepreneurs, the thugs and despots in charge are so corrupt that would-be small business operators need to pay bribes for a license to do business and must continue to pay bribes to stay in business. Oil is the main business of the Mideast. The thugs and thieves managed, either by inheritance or an outright coup, to take over the government, control the huge amounts of oil wealth, and have command of any existing army.

Third, the actual citizens have a terrible time uniting and doing a damn thing about the cancer of governing terrorist groups. Sure, it's hard to stare down a nut case like Iran's new President and his enabling group of wealthy Mullahs when they've got nukes aimed back at you. It does not help that as a people, hey, let me say it here, the Arabs are so used to slaughter and sudden bloodshed that they accept such a state of affairs far more handily than any single American ever would.

An American would be grabbing the kids and loading the dogs into the SUV and heading out of Delaware. An American would get the family safe and maybe come back to Delaware and fight back against The Crypts who have gone entirely too far. An American would not boo-hoo to CNN about the very corruption they allowed to prevail when the going was good.

An American would not pooh-pooh that ISRAEL is the problem. Israel is no more a problem to these countries than Trinidad is. Israel has done everything but stand on its head to appease these nuts and it doesn't help that the U.N. is paid off regularly by those same thugs and thieves who, no matter what Israel does, will always vote to blast the entire country off the planet.

US Soldiers Rescuing from LebanonWhat we're fighting here in this War on Terror is essentially a gang of thugs and thieves who will do anything to hang on to their power and the beloved oil wealth. The bigger problem here is an Arab populace that is very difficult to light a fire under. It's part of the problem the U.S. fights in Iraq right now. Sure the Iraqi people want freedom and if ever an Arab population was ready for democracy it would those who lived under the lovely Saddam.

It will be the AMERICAN PEOPLE who change this dynamic. For those dictators, thugs and thieves have pulled the wool over America's eyes for yay many years, with a little help from spineless elected officials who chose to kick the can down the road until the nuts came onto our soil and tried to bring us down.

The American people went ahead and re-elected Bush even while besieged by email from foreigners who can't even run their own country. Former elected officials in this country don't want aspersions cast on how they handled things and as politicians are wont to do, they worry more about their own fine selves than their country. The American people will vote those who don't follow their collective majority will right out of office. The American people are noting with shocked eyes large segments of the earth's population that get out and riot over cartoons for God's sake and hey, we have common sense out here in la-la land.

This little shenanigan by Hezbollah, Lebanon's version of Tookie's Crypts, of going into a sovereign country and kidnapping its soldiers is understood by those of us who carry this country on our collective backs. We are raising the next generation of citizens and soldiers out here and if something isn't done about those who threaten our fairly nice American lives from distant and crazy shores are not dealt with in quick dispatch, give us time, we'll gradually elect politicians who will do what has to be done.

It's how it works and the American people are not going to send their precious sons to die for a cause that benefits the poohbahs and dictators driven by power and oil wealth.

It's my story and I'm sticking to it.

    From Frontpagemag.com:
Instead the Lebanese government allowed Hezbollah to build its headquarters and underground bunkers in the populated neighborhoods of Beirut. It allowed Hezbollah to import 13,000 missiles to be fired into Israel's cities and towns. The 75,000-man Lebanese army has not sealed off the Syrian border and, according to reports, has allowed Syria to re-supply Hezbollah in the midst of its aggression. The Lebanese government has allowed Hezbollah to build underground fortresses on its southern border in position to attack. It has allowed Hezbollah to launch rockets into the towns of northern Israel to terrorize and kill innocent civilians.

    Coulter and Delay on Israel

    From RedMeatConservative.com:
Late last night, former House Majority Leader Tom Delay was on Israel National Radio with Tovia Singer to speak about the war. He categorically stated that "the peace process is a sham". In regard to the Gaza expulsion last year, he said that he had previously warned that "pulling out is not the answer". "They said [the Israeli Gov't] it cost too much to protect the Jews in Gaza, well hello! go in their and clean out those that want to kill Jews". In regard to US support he said that its not enough to morally support them, but we must be an active "partner" with them by openly supplying weapons. When asked about Condi Rice's planned visit to Israel he said, "I am very concerned, who is she going to meet with? Hamas? Leaders who are weak on Hizbollah?" "I demand that she openly stand with the Israeli PM and detail all of the things that we are openly doing in partnership with Israel so the Iranians will get the message that if you mess with Israel, you mess with us." Also, another conservative icon, Ann Coulter weighed in on the war in her weekly column. "Some have argued that Israel's response is disproportionate, which is actually correct: It wasn't nearly strong enough. I know this because there are parts of South Lebanon still standing."

    Modesty Prevents ...

Every Sunday there is posted a "Sunday Talk Show" thread at FreeRepublic.com.

I most enjoy participating in this thread as they discuss, duh, the Sunday talk shows. It's a hoot to read the comments on the denizens of the weekly political commentary shows right as they speak. Joe Biden, heh, generates a lot of negative comments, for example. Should ole Joe say something stupid to, say, "Meet the Press' Tim Russert, a bunch of Freepers will immediately post Biden's comments and add some acerbic comments of their own.

On those Sundays when I join in on the typing, I tend to get some attention. Because, I must suppose, The Wise I is just full of sarcasm and give me a passionate cause and I get, eh, passionate.

To my surprise, some of the "Freeper" participants on that thread actually give awards for posts on this thread! Even more to my surprise, I actually came in as the NUMBER ONE POSTER on this Sunday Talk Show thread!

Below is my pictorial award which I must, of course, post proudly.

Add to my delight, in this most recent Sunday Talk Show thread, I WON AGAIN! Heh. I didn't even have a chance to copy those award pictures and this time I also won some sort of special award for what is called "the best post ...EVER".

Now go on, ladies and gems, all those Freepers have to do is read this Blog. For I am on the job, citizen scribe read by two, maybe three people a day. I am sick of those who pee on our feet and tell us it's raining.

    Ann Coulter is my heroine.

If yon readers are of a mind, come to the FreeRepublic site on Sundays and join in.

    Speaking of Ann Coulter

Saw her as a special guest on Chris Matthews' "Hardball" this past Thursday, 7/27/06. Chris was, as usual, an asshole.

I will note that the majority of the people standing around in something Chris calls "Hardball Plaza" were solidly Coulter fans save for one cute little liberal thing who Ann handily made into toast for her silly comments.

Ann does a good job with these interviewers as she brooks no nonsense with their attempts at spin and contrived controversy.

Chris kept asking Ann over and over again if she had any right to question whether the so-called "Jersey Girls'" husbands were ready to leave their harpy wives. A statement Ann did make in her book but hey, I understood her logic.

Ann argues that if your only claim to fame and qualifications for the elected offices these harpies seek is your husband's death, than the public has the right to question the state of that marriage which somehow qualifies these shrews for public office. We don't know what kind of marriage those ladies had with their husbands lost to the attacks of 9-11-01. We do know that they lost their husbands and sympathy, of course, is warranted.

THAT DOES NOT MEAN THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE OUR PRESIDENT!

That's the part the liberals don't get. The libs love to recruit professional victims with absolutely no qualifications save to add their personal input to the flesh out public discourse on matters of their experience.

Cindy Sheehan lost her son in the Iraq war and how sad is this? Sheehan can offer some valuable insight into the pain of such a loss and we can all gain a little perspective from such insight. Beyond that, Cindy Sheehan is no more qualified to run for public office than is The Wise I. Not to mention her liberal-anointed position as spokesperson and general idiot on the War on Terror. Same with the Jersey Girls, those shrews who make me want to slap them all silly.

Come on, folks. We all know people who will use sudden celebrity for their own personal gain and hey, it's America, God Bless It, and sure, let capitalism run its course. We are under no obligation to accept the liberal maxim that those who lost family members on 9-11 are somehow suddenly qualified to be the next Senator from New Jersey to vote on such as tax hikes, environmental issues and minimum wage matters.

Ann Coulter points this out and hey, we get it out here in la-la land.

Everybody except Chris Matthews. Whose picture should be under the phrase "Manly Man-NOT".

The Jersey Girls and the Porn Star

Get a load of this comment from the story of the porn star running for Governor, from KVBC.com:
We've been looking at the choices you'll make for the 2006 election and one of the most dramatic races is shaping up to be the contest for governor. But one of the candidates - porn star Mimi Demayo - says she's being unfairly excluded from the major opinion polls.

Mimi delivered her first campaign speech Tuesday night. Some are dismissing her campaign as a giant publicity stunt, but the issues she's talking about are deadly serious and simply because of her porn star history, she's getting attention.

Hey, I'll grant that this woman is getting attention strictly because of her porn star status. A porn star would, go with me here, garner some attention as a gubernatorial candidate.

Kind of like how the Jersey Girls get attention because they lost their husbands in the 9-11 attack?

If KVBC wants to make a point that a porn star running for governor doesn't have "absolute moral authority" on the issues, I'll go along with that. Her candidacy for Governor of Nevada is a hoot and her past is an attention getter.

Now why on earth can't the liberals make the same connection as to relevancy and qualifications when it comes to Cindy Sheehan and the Jersey Girls? Perhaps if they were porn stars ...

    Just for a Mid-Post Smile

    Kurdistan Thanks America

I am not at all sure what a Kurd is. I don't know if they are Shias or Sunnis or whatever other cult religion they have over in the Arab world. For you see, the Arab part of our planet is about fifteen hundred years behind the rest of civilization as I see it. Once upon a time we had different sub-sects of established religions. Martin Luther split off from the Catholic church as I recall. Jews have orthodox versus unorthodox. During the Middle Ages chaos reigned and Christians were offered as food for the lions in grand Roman coliseums.

At some point in time there was turmoil as these different religious factions clashed so it's not like there isn't a history of this sort of thing.

Go with me here...the Arabs are stuck solidly in the Middle Ages and there's reasons for this. Given the abundance of oil and the total lack of a government beyond that dictated by Mighty Mohammed, a bunch of thugs and dictators managed to wrest control of the oil wealth and create their own armies. The thugs and dictators used a religion to keep the restless people at peace and continued on to do their own thing. Brainwash the children and convince the populace that female drivers are forbidden by the Koran, not to mention all the other frou-frou those crazy Islamofacists inflict on the population, and you've got a docile, frightened citizenry unable to fight back against the elite guards the despots and dictators have trained to protect them.

As I understand it, the Kurds lived in northern Iraq and Saddam absolutely despised them. Again, as I understand it, Saddam would liked to have blown these free-thinking and independent people out of his country and indeed, he often tried.

Now the Kurds, a more modern form of Middle Eastern native, are thanking America and moving on to establish their own little happening section in the north of Iraq with no bother of American troops to protect and police them.

It's refreshing and perhaps yon readers have seen some of the sweet commercials the Iraqi Kurds have been presenting, all thanking America and all just as nice as can be.

Iraqi Kurds Launch US Media Campaign Thanking Americans

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) The Kurdistan Development Corporation has just launched a public relations and advertising campaign - thanking the United States and Coalition Partners for the military effort that liberated the people of Iraqi Kurdistan from the ravages of Saddam Hussein. The campaign includes a significant purchase of national TV advertisements, print advertising in addition to public appearances and news conferences in major American cities.

Interviews with bloggers and the news media based in the United States can be arranged between July 23rd and July 28th. Contact Ray Young at (916) 781-0659 to request an interview.

To all the Iraqi Kurds from one humble American Blogger...You Are Very Welcome.
    Old Media Attacks the Minutemen

The Minutemen are a group of folks located mostly in the Southwest. They are a mish-mash of Americans, all with different qualifications and talents.

Now there seems to be a problem with the funds they collected.

The liberals love to attack action-oriented right wing groups, even if they have to make up stuff. I read the lengthy article linked and by me it sounds like a bunch of sore losers surrounding themselves with a bunch of hot air.

    From the Washington Times:
    Pic of Minutemen
A growing number of Minuteman Civil Defense Corps leaders and volunteers are questioning the whereabouts of hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, of dollars in donations collected in the past 15 months, challenging the organization's leadership over financial accountability.
Many of the group's most active members say they have no idea how much money has been collected as part of its effort to stop illegal entry -- primarily along the U.S.-Mexico border, what it has been spent on or why it has been funneled through a Virginia-based charity headed by conservative Alan Keyes.

Minutemen Founder: 30 Million Illegals in U.S.

The Minutemen border-watch group is coming to New York to demand that the federal government tighten security at our borders - and to promote an eye-opening new book co-authored by Minutemen founder Jim Gilchrist.

President George Bush once referred to Minutemen volunteers as "vigilantes," but the book promises to give the group "a chance to respond, and to change the nature of the illegal immigration debate in the process," according to a release from the group.

"Minutemen: The Battle to Secure America's Borders" is written by Gilchrist and co-author Jerome Corsi. Corsi's 2004 book on John Kerry, "Unfit for Command," was a runaway bestseller and has been credited with causing Kerry's defeat. [ Editor's Note: Get this new book with our FREE offer - Go Here Now ]

Corsi's new book with Gilchrist hits stores nationwide on July 25.

On Thursday, Wednesday July 26 at noon the authors will appear at New York City's Ground Zero, a site chosen as a symbolic reminder of the connection

John Bolton and the Very Nasty Dems

Okay, so I love John Bolton. Each and every time I have seen or heard the man who was nominated as a vacancy appointment by President Bush for Ambassador to the United Nations, I have been impressed.

The Democrats filibustered the guy because they said he was "a bully".

Bully is a term Democrats use to define someone who demands the truth and refuses to participate in silly spin.

I'll never forget the night Bolton was a guest on the Laura Ingraham show. That was the day he stood right up and defended, gasp, the AMERICAN PEOPLE!

For the U.N. classless poohbahs had earlier griped to the planet's dishonest press that the average middle America American didn't understand the United Nations at all.

Bolton was livid and why shouldn't he be? Isn't a Diplomat's job to protect and cherish the reputation of the people he represents to the world community? Besides, the U.N. thieves who went after the good people of this country who carry this country, indeed THE ENTIRE PLANET, on our backs, are hardly the stupid people these 3rd world poohbahs would depict.

See, we KNOW that Kofi has a fine collection of Mercedes from the lovely Saddam and we know that every third world tinhorn dictator uses the U.N. for their own personal gain. Us silly Americans don't like this.

So I can understand the tinhorn dictators rallying around the other U.N. thieves. But members of our own congress are going after the one guy who defends us?

Put Joe Biden at top of the list.

    From the Washington Times:
Senate Democrats have promised a "bruising fight" over the administration's nomination of John R. Bolton as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
Mr. Bolton's nomination was sent out of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee last year without a positive recommendation after Sen. George V. Voinovich, Ohio Republican, voted against him. Democrats then twice filibustered a vote on his confirmation once the nomination was sent to the Senate floor, forcing President Bush to make a recess appointment to fill the vacancy.
