Survivor Season 23 begins with cyclones and an elimination.

They're young but stupid and older but weak. On Survivor Season 33 we have the Millenials versus the Gen-xers and already we got a cyclone!

Okay so we got 20 contenders to start Season 33 of the Survivor: Millennials vs Gen-x on Fiji.


For whimsy, a contender gets a bug

Fiji, by the way, was enduring a huge hurricane/cyclone that the contenders all had to be removed from their beaches for the danger of the storm.

And so we have the Millennials, all belonging to a tribe named Vanua. Millennials were born between 1984 and 1997. The youngest contender this season, Will Wahl, is only 18 and still in high school.

The Gen-x'ers were born from 1963 to 1982 and belong to a tribe named Takali.

Alas the Gen-x'ers, older folk that they are, lost the first elimination contest.


Millennials-the winning team

The oldest Gen-xer, Paul Wachter, is 52 and a boat mechanic.

Rachel Ako was voted off in the first elimination. She is 37 and a recruiting director and I have no idea why they wanted her off.
