No, sh** Rove. I've been saying this since the election of 1996 having spent that whole year listening to Carville, Begala, and the gang telling Americans how mean-spirited and evil Republicans were. Where ya been? The mantra of the GOP should be 'rebut or die'.

A very good article. However, I think Rove would more likely tell the group that it is better to frame the debate in the first place than to be constantly responding to Democratic spin.

AND take this opportunity to make a correction. Karl Rove is NOT Bush's Chief of Staff. Andrew Card currently holds that position.
Karl Rove is the President's political advisor.
