...Because there's more to life than politics.

Overview on the upcoming Alito nomination hearings in this editorial.

Including a real snort on the Democrat "expert" that turned out to be a real Moonbat.

No wonder his appearance was pulled.
It's time for a Notable/Quotables and we're all over the place with wise sayings.

We begin with NY Times reporter James Risen's interview with perky Katie. During which he gives a great big clue where he got his top secret information that he may betray and sell books.

Got a good quote on dogs and some NY Times headlines that leave us reeling.

Today's Daily Update

Pope Shooter to be Released

He served twenty years. The pope forgave him. Perhaps it’s time.

We will note that this fellow was a Muslim. We will also note it’s never been revealed why he tried to kill the pope.

Report: Man who shot pope to be freed

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) - A court has approved the release of the man who shot Pope John Paul II in 1981, saying he completed his prison term in Turkey, the semiofficial Anatolia news agency reported Sunday.

Mehmet Ali Agca was extradited to Turkey in 2000 after serving almost 20 years in Italy for shooting and wounding the pope in St. Peter's Square in Rome. His motives for the attack remain unclear.

Agca, 46, was expected to be released as early as Monday.

Here’s the cute way Howeird is getting around this. Jack Abramoff seldom contributed his own money to a political campaign. Now the man is a Republican and he likely contributed up to the $1,000 limit for private contributions to a Republican candidate of his choice.

That’s NOT the problem with Jack Abramoff. Ol’ Jack contributed his CLIENTS’ money to the political coffers. His clients being American Indians, many of whom he outright scammed with promises he could not keep.

That list above are all Democrats who received money from Abramoff’s clients.

Howeird dances around the truth with the same finesse as Abramoff’s clients when they do the rain dance.

What a liar. I could see Wolf sputtering but I think the man was totally in shock by this outright lie.
