Horowitz Killer Sentenced to Life Without Parole
Scott Dyleski was growing marijuana in his house. Such activities require grow lights and other capital investments and this Goth-wannabe was broke. So he used a credit card of his neighbor’s. Dyleski feared she’d discover the charge on her bill so what the hell, he bludgeoned the woman to death.
Covered on this Blog HERE, HERE, and HERE, this crime had some intriguing characters. Daniel Horowitz is an attorney pundit often guest on the Nancy Grace show. It was Horowitz’ wife, Pam Vitale, who was murdered in such a horrific manner. Horowitz was defender of Susan Polk, perpetrator of another sensational crime in that Polk killed her own husband with one of her sons defending her while the other thought her guilty of the crime.

Scott Dyleski, convicted of murdering Pamela Vitale, sentenced to life in prison
MARTINEZ, Calif. (AP) — A teenager convicted of murdering the wife of defense attorney and TV legal analyst Daniel Horowitz was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison without parole.
Dyleski was 16 years old when he killed Vitale. As a minor, he could not receive the death penalty. Thank goodness this young man got life without parole. Best to get these creeps and lock them away early. Pam Vitale should be alive and living a vibrant life today but for some criminal who thought nothing of killing in such cold blood.
Anna Nicole-Everyone Wants to be the Father of Her Baby
First, Cyril Wecht is a publicity hound and was hired BY Anna Nicole Smith. Herself somewhat of a publicity hound although I’m not sure she likes all this sudden attention.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A pathologist probing the death of model Anna Nicole Smith's son said on Thursday that since the cause has been found, the case can be closed without holding a planned inquest in the Bahamas next month.
Pathologist Cyril Wecht, hired by the Smith family to investigate, said the 20-year-old died of an accidental but fatal interaction of three drugs: anti-depressants Lexipro and Zoloft, and methadone, a painkiller used mostly to treat heroin addiction.
The autopsy as conducted by Wecht could very well be the truth. So? If my child suddenly dies can I just hire my own coroner and poof, no problem? This strange death happened in the Bahamas and right there is question as to how well the local law enforcement will investigate. I sense shades of Aruba.
Add to the audacity of Wecht, he states that there’s no need for a planned inquest now that HE has declared the cause of Smith’s son’s death.
Putting this all aside, another intriguing thing about this case is Anna’s baby daughter and just the hell is the baby’s father. I watched some fellow on Greta Van Sustern’s show with my own lying eyes. He was a photographer and evidently he and Smith has some sort of relationship. He declared that Anna told him that HE was the father of the baby and said that he went on doctor’s visits with Smith and witnessed the first ultrasound.
At some point in time this fellow and Anna Nicole broke up. According to this would-be father, Smith’s lawyer, Howard K. Stern was very domineering and in control of Smith and it appears that these two men did not get along. This photographer also declared that the reason Smith gave birth in the Bahamas was to keep him away from his and Anna’s child.
The following night, I’m not making this up, this same Howard K. Stern declared on Larry King Alive that HE was the father of Anna’s baby girl.
Now we hear that Anna Nicole and Stern have been married.

The wedding occurred only 18 days after the death of Anna's son Daniel, 20, from an accidental drug overdose in her Nassau hospital room on September 10.
Strange. Why the sudden marriage so soon after the death of Smith’s son? Seems to me that it takes nine months or so to have a baby so why weren’t they married BEFORE now?
It also seems to me that such as paternity is quite easily determined but perhaps Greta’s photographer guest was right. It might be more difficult to order such a test in another country.
Weird. Just one weird case. And I’m betting the Bahamian authorities allow Anna Nicole to get her way.

Colorado School Shooting
The recent shooting in Platte Canyon High School in Colorado absolutely brings chills. A loser, a big loser, went into a classroom and ordered everyone to leave save six female students. He molested four of the students and let them go. Two hostages were left. Swat teams stormed the school and as they entered the classroom Duane Morrison shot Emily Keyes in the head.
Creeps live amongst us folk. And like the wise Muslim oil barons have learned long ago, those who are willing to commit suicide, well what do they have to lose? Might as well kill many on the way out, or in the case of Morrison, sexually abuse a few female students, maybe kill one or two, before doing the deed.
In fact, the day of this writing there was yet another suicide committed in an Amish school, of all places. This fellow too took a few small children with him. Reports are that he told his wife that he was doing the deed to avenge something that happened to him 20 years ago.
BAILEY, Colo. (Sept. 29) - The gunman who took six girls hostage in a high school classroom and killed one of them before taking his own life left a suicide note, the sheriff said Friday.
There’s not much of a defense against those hell-bent on killing themselves. The Kamikazi Japanese pilots of World War II caused untold damage. It’s difficult to defend when one fighter wants to live and the attacker doesn’t care if death comes upon him or her.
My heart breaks for Emily Keyes, who died such an awful death. Her parents have got to be miserable and I understand she had a twin brother.
It certainly looks as if schools in this country are simply going to have to get better protection. By their very nature, schools are very open. With this sudden emergence of suicide vengeance, we as a nation are going to have to get practical and protect the innocent children in our vulnerable schools.
Gag Order Requested for Dragging Death
Jose Luis Rubi-Nava wrapped an orange tow rope around his girlfriend and dragged her to death behind his car. The woman was so disfigured first responders didn’t know if the body was male or female.
Nice guy.
What’s even worse, Rubi-Navi is an illegal Mexican alien and I don’t care how many millions of lawful hard-working illegal aliens live in this country, we just should not have to deal with this creep. Mexico should be dealing with this creep.

Castle Rock - A public defender for Jose Luis Rubi-Nava told a judge Monday that her client is being convicted by immigration-reform crusaders and the media before he can stand trial on charges he put a rope around his girlfriend's neck and dragged her to death behind his truck.
Rubi-Nava is a Mexican citizen who was living in Glendale while working construction jobs. He is suspected of being an undocumented worker.
Now I don’t know why Rubi-Nava’s public defender wants a gag order in this case. Attorney Tamara Brady requested such a gag order and I suppose as this creep’s defense attorney it makes sense. Americans don’t think much of men who drag their girlfriends behind the cars on a tow rope. They sure aren’t going to think much of this illegal alien doing such a thing. Colorado Rep Tancredo used this case as an example of why we need to better control our borders.
Indeed. We are paying with our taxpayer dollars for this guy’s defense team! It is a very good example of how our borders need to be protected and for sure this case will get attention not only for the heinousness of the crime, but for the indignity that Americans have to offer this creep all the protections of our constitution. A constitution he didn’t even respect enough to gain legal entry into our country and now…well suppose this fine defense attorney gets this guy off?
Dolly Hearn
I am not at all sure the quote in this Blog post about Dacula’s murdering dentist Barton Corbin that the emailer is referring to, but I will correct the record.
Barton Corbin seems to have a bunch of his female friends and/or wife dying all around him. In December of 2004 Corbin’s wife, Jennifer, too put a bullet through her head. Just as Dolly Hearn, a friend, but NOT a roommate as the emailer protests, did fourteen year’s prior.
Such bad luck for Dr. Corbin, that all his ladies keep killing themselves.

The quote below regarding Dolly Hearn is inaccurate. although they dated, Dolly was never a roomate of Bart Corbin's. She was a rising senior when she was killed; he graduated shortly after he murdered her.

Dr. Corbin has been arrested for the murder of Dolly Hearn in late December of 2004. Once his wife put a bullet in her head, well they went ahead and charged him for Dolly’s murder. Georgia cops evidently don’t believe in these sorts of coincidences.
Dry Cleaner’s Mistake
So okay, someday some REAL murderer could use this as an alibi.
Seems a local dry cleaners found a damning note in a customer’s sports coat in to be dry cleaned.

A note found in a customer's clothing read, "You have committed a murder, but no one believes it. All I can do is kill myself, then everyone will see what you have done."
It was signed: "Your wife, Alice."
Turns out that the owner of the sports coat was an actor in a play. The note was a prop in a play he was involved in-“Retreat From Moscow”.
2006 Stella Awards
Not at all sure what the Stella awards are or who gives them. This email came into my Ebox and I thought it rather amusing.

Kathleen Robertson of Austin, Texas was awarded $80,000 by a jury of her peers after breaking her ankle tripping over a toddler who was running inside a furniture store. The owners of the store were understandably surprised at the verdict, considering the misbehaving little toddler was Ms. Robertson's son.

Nineteen year old Carl Truman of Los Angeles won $74,000 and medical expenses when his neighbor ran over his hand with a Honda Accord. Mr. Truman apparently didn't notice there was someone at the wheel of the car when he was trying to steal his neighbor's hubcaps.

Terrence Dickson of Bristol, Pennsylvania was leaving a house he had just finished robbing by way of the garage. He was not able to get the garage door to go up since the automatic door opener was malfunctioning. He couldn't re-enter the house, because the door connecting the house and garage locked when he pulled it shut. The family was on vacation and Mr. Dickson found himself locked in the garage for eight days. He subsisted on a case of Pepsi he found and a large bag of dry dog food. He sued the homeowner's insurance claiming the situation caused him undue mental anguish. The jury agreed to the tune of $500,000.
4th Place:
Jerry Williams of Little Rock, Arkansas was awarded $14,500 and medical expenses after being bitten on the buttocks by his next door neighbor's beagle. The beagle was on a chain in its owner's fenced yard. The award was less than sought, because the jury felt the dog might have been just a little provoked at the time by Mr. Williams who had climbed over the fence into the yard and was shooting it repeatedly with a pellet gun.
3rd Place:
A Philadelphia restaurant was ordered to pay Amber Carson of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, $113,500 after she slipped on a soft drink and broke her coccyx (tailbone). The beverage was on the floor, because Ms. Carson had thrown it at her boyfriend 30 seconds earlier during an argument.
2nd Place:
Kara Walton of Claymont, Delaware successfully sued the owner of a night club in a neighboring city when she fell from the bathroom window to the floor and knocked out her two front teeth. This occurred while Ms. Walton was trying to sneak through the window in the ladies room to avoid paying the $3.50 cover charge . She was awarded $12,000 and dental expenses.
1st Place:
This year's runaway winner was Mrs. Merv Grazinski of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mrs. Grazinski purchased a brand new 32-foot Winnebago motor home. On her first trip home, (from an OU football game), having driven onto the freeway, she set the cruise control at 70 mph and calmly left the driver's seat to go into the back and make herself a sandwich. Not surprisingly, the RV left the freeway, crashed and overturned. Mrs.Grazinski sued Winnebago for not advising her in the owner's manual that she couldn't actually do this. The jury awarded her $1,750,000, plus a new motor home. The company actually changed their manuals on the basis of this suit, just in case anyone else thought that's what cruise control meant.
Jimella Tunstall’s Tragic and Confusing Life
Covered on this Blog HERE, the horrific tragedy that befell Jimella Tunstall is almost without equal. A “friend” of Tunstall cut her baby out of her belly and murdered her three children. All three of Tunstall’s dead young children were found stuffed into Tunstall’s washer and dryer.
What’s even more tragic, as one reads the history of Tunstall’s past, is the very dysfunctional upbringing this tragic victim had. Jimella Tunstall was 23 years old when her friend evidently went nuts and went into a rampage that left Tunstall’s three children, her unborn baby, and Tunstall herself, dead.

EAST ST. LOUIS - Sandra Myers, the mother of the young pregnant woman who was allegedly killed by a friend, wants that friend to pay for the devastation she has caused her family.
Myers is the mother of Jimella Tunstall, who was found slain Thursday. Her fetus had been cut from her womb and her three children were found stuffed into a washer and dryer Saturday.
Tunstall's friend, Tiffany Hall, 24, is charged with killing Tunstall and cutting her unborn baby from her womb on Sept. 15. Hall has admitted to drowning DeMond Tunstall, 7, Ivan Tunstall-Collins, 2 1/2, and Jinella Tunstall, 1 1/2 , St. Clair County Coroner Rick Stone has said.
Tunstall’s mother, quoted above, didn’t have custody of Tunstall as a child. Tunstall was left in a foster home. Myers also lost custody of her other children but claims she got them back.
Now we hear from Tunstall’s “Dad”.

When Jimella was a young girl, he said he told her mother, Sandra Myers, he was going to take her. He said Myers told him he wasn't the biological father.
"We had DNA tests done when Jimella was between 6 and 7 years old, and that's when I found out for sure," he said. "My family and I had been taking care of her all of that time."
Riley Tunstall talks of visiting Jimella in her foster home.
What a tragedy. So many innocent victims. Jimella Tunstall deserved better than what life gave her.
Melinda Duckett Had an Abusive History
Covered on this Blog HERE and HERE, Melinda Duckett’s toddler son Trenton went missing and was reported by Melinda as an abuction.
Only Melinda Duckett could not stand the scrutiny of police investigators and committed suicide. Without, it must be added, leaving details as to where her son’s body could be found.
It turns out that Melinda had a record of abuse and that poor little boy’s parents had a tumultuous relationship. The Florida Department of Children and Families had numerous reports about Melinda’s mistreatment of Trention.

The records also report on psychological evaluations of Melinda Duckett, and in December 2005, she was diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive personality disorder. But entry after entry indicated that there was "no psychological reason that would preclude Melinda from being a capable and loving parent."
Other entries documented violence against Joshua and Trenton. On Oct. 31, 2005, DCF received a report from Lake County that said "Melinda scratched Joshua during an argument in the car. She is also alleged to have threatened to kill Trenton and held a knife against his leg."
I know that various child welfare authorities have a difficult job. It’s a difficult task to ascertain if a parent is capable of taking care of a child and it’s an enormous action to actually remove a child from its home.
Poor Trenton Duckett spent his life shuttled from grandparents to great-grandparents to his parents to foster care. The child was only two years old. If this record is not enough to have kept Trenton away from his evidently mentally unstable mother, than there is no such thing. Note the DCF entry that declared that Melinda was a “capable and loving parent”. In a two year span this baby had a torturous life and yet the authorities thought she was a “loving parent”?
